I hadn't seen that before, but well done. On a side note, I hope Darren Evans returns to VT to coach at some point. He's been one of my favorites. The interview he did on the field after trucking Maryland sealed the deal for me. The interview starts at 2:21:00. Don't know how to start the video at that point.

Ah, OK. I guess I always thought of the lottery as everyone who has a ball in the machine. To clarify my earlier post, I was thinking of the top 14 selections.
I don't really like the NBA draft nearly as much as the NFL draft. There are usually a lot of players I haven't heard of being selected, some from overseas, and since I don't pay a lot of attention to college basketball, I end up scratching my head, wondering where the picks went to college.
As far as the NBA goes, I'm still a Washington Bullets fan.
Oh yea, I forgot they traded away all their first rounders for the next few years when they got Lebron and Bosh. I'm hoping he goes to the Wizards just so I can see him play.
I'd add that real intelligent players excel on the o line too. You show me an angry, country strong guy who has the size and the intelligence and I'll show you an offensive lineman I want on my team.
You don't have to worry about that as Heat don't have a pick. On side note, I can think of a lot worse situations then learning from Lebron, DWade, and Pat Reilly.
I'm excited to see where he goes. For the last few years my favorite NBA team has been whoever is playing the Heat, it will be nice to actually have a team to root for. On a side note, if EG is drafted by the Heat I'm gonna be PISSED.

Yeah we have music technology, which would be good for music producing. I have no idea how good the program is, but I know you have to play an instrument and still take instruction on it to get in. I tried out on saxophone after not really playing it for two years because we don't have a guitar teacher. I did not get in.
I've been saying this for years. With Greg Toal at Don Bosco, there is absolutely NO excuse for not having a pipeline to one of the top HS programs in the nation. None, whatsoever. Glad to see we might be starting to get a foot in the door.

All the pay sites say he eliminated a school last night. The wahoo boards comments saying another one bites the dust, but no input on what school. Anyone know by chance? Just want to verify we are still in the running.
Edit: apparently it was OSU. 3 more days and its UVA, Bama, Clemson, FSU, and VT.

Thanks! This is my first time really paying attention to the NBA draft at all, considering it's the first time in a while we have a shot at getting someone selected first round.
Yeah, all teams that didn't make the playoffs have what is called a lottery pick (14 picks). It isn't because they aren't randomized but its because all of the non playoff teams have a theoretical chance of getting one of the three first picks, which is the lottery part of it.
I was actually suppose to go to that game but decided to go to the ECU game instead because my parents had an extra ticket. I wanted to be there with the Hokie community after 4/16
I read somewhere (757recuit.com) that he was supposed to be eliminating a team every night till the 29th. No new chatter though. He has said many times that UVA is on the outside looking in. Not sure why their is no one predicting another school. Must be the family connection?
Not to be a pessimist, but if none of the 247 guys change their picks by Friday, there is no chance he comes here. I'm already keeping myself grounded given the fact that no one changed their picks after this interview. That being said, though, those guys take huge pride in who they pick so if some guys start flipping, I'll start getting a little more excited.
