They have less than 11-hours to recover from last night's marathon game. However, that also shows how determined and conditioned they are so we can't take them lightly at all. And of course, they're a top-5 team for good reason.

maybe it's because my dad's side of the family is from wv, but my aunt went to marshall so i grew up with my grandparents preaching to me how bad wvu is, but they are and shall remain my most hated rival. any team that makes my blood boil like that is so satisfying to beat head to head, and so devastating to lose to. that is rivalry my friends. we played a thriller with them in hoops this year and my heart was racing the whole second half.

when we played them in football it was always the hardest hitting nailbiter of the year (well not every year but many). it seemed like every year one team would be ranked high, and the other team would be mediocre and knock them off. the fans hate each other, the players hate each other, hell even the administrations dont seem to like one another. it is an sec level rivalry.

current students would quickly learn all about how intense it is. i know they have more sociopaths than most fan bases and seem to wear it like a badge of honor, but we have some pretty shitty confrontational fans too. i've seen it with my own eyes, and that includes throwing shit at opposing fans and starting fights. frankly some of you sound like hoos with all the inbred toothless kissing cousins comments every time west virginia comes up.

bring the game back.

honorable mentions:

tekken 2, mortal combat 3, rogue squadron, resident evil 4, megaman 2, the original legend of zelda

1. contra
2. NHL 94 for gensis - while no fighting, when you hurt the player for a short time they would lay on the ice and wiggle for a second. when you hurt them for the game, they would lay there motionless
3. mario kart for SNES
4. halo

what was the game where you're a spaceship and some levels is a side view and some where from overhead? you'd gain weapons like missiles that would follow the terrain of the map, but the real deal was when you'd get one or two little orbs that would also shoot your primary weapon.

We'll be playing a very tired UNC team that has played 32-innings in the last two nights, for the ACC Title. We also won't be facing State's Rodon on the mound; you can see him going real high in the draft. Let's use that to our advantage!

Don't look now, but UNC and NCST are currently in the bottom of the 18th inning, with UNC up 2-1. One of these teams will be pretty tired when they play us tomorrow; especially the Tarholes.

Never play them again! Their fans are a danger to our team and our fans and the value of playing them is negligible. They may from a better conference than ECU, but at least Greenville is a reasonably pleasant place to visit. Morgantown? no thanks! Neutral site? Not with our history in those games.

I wasnt going to say anything but then I saw your 1000th turkey leg was earned bashing the other team from Pennsylvania and couldnt help but to congratulate you. Go Pens

Have a turn at what? Continuing to not win the Stanley Cup?

I've just been saying they were just letting someone else have a turn this year.

My Flyers have been enjoying the links these past couple weeks and, judging by their performance, most of the regular season

Well what else can be said, but the Bruins had the energy and momentum and the Blue Shirts did not

Can't wait for the new board!

I have to give some input here, this has to be one of my favorite topics. No particular order just some I really seem to remember.

1.) Dragon Warrior. It was first true RPG I ever played and set the standard for all other RPGs moving forward.
2.) Final Fantasy II, VII, and FF Tactics. FF II was easy enough for a 10 year old but complicated for the older crowd. FF VII was great and the chocobo races were some of the best mini games ever. And final fantasy tactics was just amazing.
3.) Goldeneye of course. The 4 way play was great, and the varying tasks based on difficulty level was superb.
4.) Madden 93?94? on the genesis where you could just spin move emmitt smith for a touchdown ever time he ran the ball.
5.) Ncaa basketball for snes. It was back when the Big 12 was the Big 8 and Byron Houston was totally unstoppable for OSU. 3's, inside, outside, defense. Dominant.
6.) X-com Ufo defense for the PC. Real time strat. Turn based, i really hated the mind controlling Aliens bunch of pansy ass jerks.
7.) Contra, it got to the point where my and my brother would see how many times we could beat it without dying. Mother Brain really hated us.
8.) Zelda Ocarina of Time and Mario 64. Truly great sequels for the new system when it came out.
9.) World Series Baseball for the Dreamcast. yep i did the 162 game season baby!
10.) Double Dragon the Arcade version, elbow the crap out of the big dudes, if you tried to fight them straight up forget about it.

Man I could go on forever. Great thread.

What was in no more.

Should have the new one up next week and I believe they start setting up to take down the boards in Cassell next week as well.

Busted up laughing when I saw it live. Probably the most animated all season. What a great three games, can't wait for tomorrow.

i know this ones newer but fallout 3 anyone?! i put so many hours into that game, but super smash is still the most time consuming game, to this day me and my roommates still play it. We'll always say one more game which winds up being another hour or two...so addicting
