I remember Andre Davis' only offers were from UMass and Northeastern.
Holmes took to Twitter to defend himself. I really want to believe him.
To all the people who care and know me, thanks for being here for me in this situation....— Michael Holmes (@MHolmesRB20) April 24, 2013
It hurts to know that people really think I'm out here fighting everyone and don'tknow what really happened. I'd never do some things said— Michael Holmes (@MHolmesRB20) April 24, 2013
their vetting of academics must be a grueling process.
Good Guy Joe.
Here is my upvote.
I think there is a lot of work to be done but reading the reports and hearing what the coaches and players are saying, I feel like this will be a tougher team than it was last year. I think too much is being put on the Spring Game. The positives seem to be that Lefty is making progress with LT3s footwork and mechanics, his next step may very well be decision making. The OL by French's account wasn't as bad as they looked and honestly to be expected given a new coach who opened up every single position to be taken. Maybe I'm buying into things too much but there is something about Grimes that tells me that he's got this (probably the Foster goatee). The hires we made in the off-season look to be legit and progress, as slow as it seems to be, is still being made. At the end of the day I'm comfortable with Bud re-loading the D, Grimes giving us a tough, serviceable OL, and Lefty getting LT3 back on track. I may have lower expectations for this group than most, but I think it would be a phenomenal accomplishment for them to hit 10 wins and an ACC championship. Years past I would say that was just expected.
I went to High School with Kam. He practically carried the basketball and football teams back then. Maury was competitive when he was there, but not much before and not much after so I think people bypassed him because of the area. Most good Norfolk recruits either move to the beach or get lower offers unless they are from Lake Taylor.
It's something I'm looking to enable before the season. I know some people miss-voted on their cell phones, so I spaced them out more. I might do the same on desktop now too. Either way, whenever I see it, I always give a +1 to even people out. :)
While I understand your down vote was an accident (Ive been guilty of that while on my cell phone), youre a madman to play with your turkey legs like this. I would protect mine in a safe if possible. I even had a party when I hit 100 legs, true story.
You do however bring up a good point about undoing votes, especially down votes.
He is doing a lot of chatting with Reavis, so if they become good friends, I think this could play well in our favor.
Wait until the Big 10 fans experience said shit hole. I can only imagine it being slightly less horrible for them than Big 12 fans going to Morgantown.
I saw what I thought was Trey Edmunds' family at Red Robin in Roanoke Saturday after the spring game. It was a pretty big family and one of the little kids (~5-6 years old) had on a little customized #14 Edmunds jersey. Cute lil' fella. I didn't see anyone that looked like they were in high school though, so that was weird.
It's also still pretty early in the 2014 cycle so most sites haven't gotten around to weighing in on all of the prospects. His only offer is from VT (as of now). It's important to note/remember that our coaches have a heck of an eye for good defensive backs. Kam Chancellor ladies and gentlemen:
Kam Chancellor's only scholarship offers coming out of Maury High in Norfolk in class of 2006 were from #Hokies, JMU and Kent State.— Norm Wood (@normwood) April 23, 2013
Welcome to Hokie Nation Terrell!
If I had to guess, he wanted his parents and friends to be able to see him play. Trey took the offer from the better school, Terrell took the one from the closer school. With Maryland going to the B1G, the Edmunds family can still see Terrell play at many ACC schools.
this is pretty under the radar its not even on 247
I don't think many have heard much about him. The recruiting sites don't even give him a star rating but he has good size and a good pedigree. From the looks of his highlights online, he plays corner and running back in HS.
Well College Park is a shithole, there is really no debating that.
I met more than a few transfers from UMD at Tech. Many seek exodus from College Park, for one reason or another.
The most telling thing for me is what this says about Ferrell's alma mater Maryland. He didn't want either of his kids to go there? I can't really fault them but still, a little strange.
When you e-mail Strongbad/stare-down Bud Foster: you "get a world of hurt!"
+1 for that throwback...
what position were we recruiting him for? i havent heard much about him at all
I was wondering when the next HPPP would be
They had were real easy on the eyes. From my experiences and observations in the Greek Life, Alpha Phi always took some real lookers. Paige was actually in one of my classes.

# | Bitter blog - Differing versions of fight emerging as Holmes released on bond Eh, sometimes you can't just finish a fight without hurting someone. I've been in a few myself when I was younger, and you don't just slap-tickle until you find an escape route and run. It doesn't make fighting "right", but you can't blame the kid for finishing the fight. It doesn't take much for someone to get bloodied up in a brawl, and oftentimes, that STILL won't stop a guy. If the guy's got a busted or black eye, then that's what he gets for starting a fight. If you ask me, it seems this kid hardly got hurt at all. Don't start fights you can't finish.

Oh and look at papa Edmunds go

That was a tight end? He was flying!

The Wheel of Grades is very heavy. They have to hire Pat Sajak to hit the high scores all the time, and he's got a very tight schedule.
