I've been asking this for years and still don't understand it. If you're the starting quarterback of the Virginia Tech Hokies and your brother is Michael Vick, why are you screwing a 15 year old?! Be like AJ McCarron and bag a model!

Tajh would like to announce that Tajh will be back. Tajh is happy to take your questions now. Tajh be praised.

No coach has done less with more NFL talent than Kevin Sherman. Even with Eddie Royal, Justin Harper, Josh Morgan, David Clowney, Marcus Davis, and many more, every Hokie team has featured poor route running and bad fundamentals. Coale and Boykin were the outliers, but they have been the exception rather than the rule. Route running has always been an issue, and blocking comes and goes. I just don't see a satisfactory attention to detail, instead he is there to be the players "buddy." Those coaches are good for recruiting, but always drag the program down when they are in positions when teaching is needed.

i was thinking while watching the NC game if Jack Tyler would allow Lacey to break tackles like that. From what i saw ND's D looked more overrated against Alabama than the Tech's D looked all season.

Sherman is the one guy on offense that I feel whose seat should be coolest right now.

But in the interest of playing devil's advocate, I have two words (and then a quick explanation):

Marcus. Davis.

As we all know, there were numerous times this season where he looked like he just didn't care, or didn't know his blocking assignments, or even really how to block. And at least part of that falls on his position coach.

it's hard to know how not having a blow-out to LSU before Tyrod had his reps affected the team...

I agree we probably would have made the NC without that opener, but our loss to BC makes me think that LSU still would have won.

But 0-2 in title appearances would indeed be better than 0-1 and an Orange loss to Kansas.

But he isn't exactly Tim Tebow out here. Weed on the airplane, admitting to never studying film, not being a team player in ATL, and the obvious dog fighting. Michael seems to have turned a corner though, which is great to see. Marcus on the other hand is just an idiot.

The Bama game is going to be low-scoring for us with or without Logan. The game can only go one of two ways: a low-scoring defensive struggle which both teams could potentially win, or a blowout which Alabama wins (meaning Alabama scores more than 20/25 points against our defense).
Either way, it's most likely to look a lot like the Russel Athletic Bowl for our offense simply because of the caliber of the Bama defense.

Josh Trimble is the only returner, and he likes to blow up bottles outside his friends' apartments so he may or may not be a reliable option for 2013.

I lol'ed.

Having to start an unexperienced QB against Alabama in the season opener will NOT be fun to watch.

I think Thomas is going to leave. I just get the feeling that he realizes that his stock will be hurt more than helped next year. If he got a 2nd or 3rd round grade that's high enough for him to be risking too much for another year in college.

If there's an announcement about the offensive coaching staff, I'll bet we'll hear from Logan shortly after.

I wish Logan and Gayle wouldn't wait so long to just tell us... shit, even Tajh Boyd doesn't wait this long.

I don't always double down on the Hokie Kool-aid,
But when I do my friends, I roll with Revis.

Stay thirsty my friends.

im so glad to see this officially, this doesn't really surprise me too much especially because of his tweets after the bama/nd game. hopefully this is the start of some official good news (lookin at you pep) coming from the program of the next few weeks.
