Uh, Mike Vick, not the greatest dude ever.

Marcus was "worse" because he had the context of Mike's fame and money in his formative years to deal with. But, "worse" is a pretty personal decision. Marcus is a trainwreck, Mike...well...is a convicted felon.

I look forward to playing in the Chik-Fil-A kick off classic because it is less then 2 hours south on I-85. Plan to have a few friends from NOVA and the Burg coem down and stay so we can go.

I'll play devil's advocate, and I don't pretend to know near as much about football as you do, but no other offensive coach has put more of players in the NFL, and no other coach on the team has put more guys in the league except Gray. And the guys you listed, the only highly recruited ones were Davis (4*) and Royal (4*) and Davis was a QB in high school. Clowney was a last secind offer when Anastasio committed to ND.
That said, we have had issues with route running and Dyrell and Marcus were piss poor run blockers. Dyrell was inconsistent his entire time here too. Was Tony Ball a better coach than Sherm?

All we have to do with Knowles is send him on streak routes the entire game... There aren't many defenders out there that can keep up with his speed. Long bombs to Knowles. All day.

Which scares me for next season. In the game where we did sit him for a half, the backups didn't look to good. Now we have to rely on those guys next year. Hope Coles is good to go to provide some leadership to the young receivers.

The other one looks kinda smaller in the shoulders. I guess I just gained a little extra free time in Atlanta this August.

which is my point. His potential was shown in his measurables, not in how he performed while at school as a result of our staff's teachings.

The argument there is, how does a second-team All-ACC offensive lineman get picked in the first round and now considered among the elite in the NFL today (which spans many years worth of college players, not just the 4 years he was competing against), and how does that reflect on the coaches he had in college? If he had played up to his college potential, and how we now know he can play, he would have been an All-American.

There are two Kristen Sabans and one looks like that, and the other is Saban's daughter.

Definitely the coaching changes. As has been said, we'd be dead in the SEC without them anyway.

But also, our ultimate goal is a national title, and to me, the coaching changes are a much bigger step in that direction than moving conferences.
