I would line up in an I and run the ball down the other team's throat. Set up some play-action out of that and use the tight ends a whole lot more. The best example of what I would do with our offense is what the Texans do. I know we don't have a running back like Arian Foster, but I think someone will emerge as a great back during the offseason.

There's also the fact that Mike waited until AFTER he left Tech to start screwing up. It doesn't reflect quite as poorly on our program as Marcus did, since his debauchery happened while in school.
Sherman has been a career wide receivers coach. How many of those are there? Really, most position coaches progress up the ladder to coordinator and maybe head coaching jobs. To me, the only exception to the rule are o-line lifers, and the good ones, the few out there, are highly coveted. Sherman has just two big-time gigs on his resume: WRs at Wake Forest 2000-05, and WRs at Tech from 2006-present*. Perhaps he's received other offers and turned them down, but I don't remember hearing about any of them. I want coaches on my staff that other programs want, i.e. the Bud Fosters of the world.
If I'm assembling a college staff, I'd want a young WRs coach that had the energy to be a ferocious recruiter to counteract inexperience. That would put him in a position to learn from the more experienced offensive coaches, especially the coordinator to gain a solid understand of the playbook and scheme so he could be a top internal candidate to replace any possible turnover on my staff. That's just me though.
At Tech it's gotten stale on the offensive side of the ball. The turnover is necessary to bring in fresh ideas and perspective.

I thought he went through stretches where teams went out of their way to stay away from him, but he has to be more productive given the skill set and measurables that he has.
And there is absolutely no way you can convince me that he didn't come to fall camp a bit to heavy. I think it contributed to his early injuries and the coaching staff's frustration with him. He defintely wasn't in top shape based on my eye test.

either way, this year could really benefit him (and the team as a whole). I think he has the potential, especially if he plays every game like the Clemson game. I think Taji is still looking over his shoulder wondering if Gayle is there.

I was gonna post the tweet but had no idea how to haha but yeah I was 95% sure Gayle would stay. I mean we are bringing back pretty much the same defense next year. They are only going to get better. I could only see Gayle getting better next year, where as for Logan, i think it depends on the staff changes like you said that will determine whether his stock goes up or down

That's the beauty of it. Next year could be the year, if we have a functioning offensive staff. After we #BEATBAMA, we should be able to dominate our ACC slate and whatever cupcakes we scheduled after we #BEATBAMA.
