Dunno, it's like SEC East vs SEC West - West is so strong at the top and the rest sucks, but East is more uniform. And which division usually comes out smelling like roses? West.

The change of personnel definitely had a little to with the underachieving of this team this season, but lack of heart also had a lot to do with it. It seemed.to me that this team was never motivated until the UVA game. The team was practically sleep walking against Pitt and Cincinnati.

"I'm not aware of any communications between university leadership and the Big Ten or any other conference," Griffin said Friday afternoon from Charlotte, where Tech will play Florida State for the ACC football championship Saturday.

Griffin acknowledged that an action like switching conferences from the ACC to the Big Ten would take place at an executive level, but said that Tech president G.P. "Bud" Peterson "has told me there's been no communication nor does he expect any."

Makes me want to tie a bandana around my thigh for no apparent reason...

Similar to why I feel compelled to pull for Clemson to beat SC even though I truly want the "Ol Ball Coach" to kick Jack McBrayer's teeth in...

I'm thinking it's time to join UEFA. We'd kick their butts in football. Those little pansies would get knocked out of the game so quickly...

What? European football is different?

(For your protection, this post is laced with sarcasm)

Northern Illinois -6.5 -- Just Cause, I have no idea
Stanford -7.5 -- A lot of bruises playing Stanford 2 weeks in a row
Oklahoma -6.5 -- Stoops not involved in any serious coaching rumors?
Georgia +7.5 -- Go Dawgs
Florida State -13.5 -- Bring the hammer against alleged future B1G
Nebraska -3.5 -- I watch B1G as much as I watch the mac

I really don't care enough to argue with you.

in these. However, I am that Vince will lose. At least one pick....

Northern Illinois -- I haven't seen either school. COIN FLIP!

Stanford -- I like Shaw's team. Have done some work this year.

Oklahoma -- They only shit the bed in October

Bama -- Unless they're focused on ND I see them leapfrogging GA

GT -- Marquee cover for the B1G

Whisky -- snore

My Picks:
N. Illinois -6.5
UCLA +7.5
Oklahoma -6.5
Georgia +7.5
FSU -13.5
Nebraska -3.5

Bodak's Picks:
N. Illinois -6.5
Stanford -7.5
TCU +6.5
Alabama -7.5
FSU -13.5
Nebraska -3.5

I'm sorry but that's absolutely ridiculous. You think it's ok for these people to waste millions out of loyalty for UVA? Even if that were a worthwhile goal how does our staying the ACC while it collapses even make anything better for UVA? And anyway, it wasn't UVA that got us in it was the governor of VA.

With the GT rumors heating up (I know, I know... rumors. But they were just rumors in Maryland one short week ago...) Who does the ACC pick up next? UConn? Navy? Grand Canyon University? I've never been in the #VT4SEC camp - grew up in central NC, dad is a UNC alum, and the ACC always just seemed like the right place for us in my own little world - but I will be willing to start leaning that way soon if the ACC continues to become less recognizable as the conference I grew up with. I also can't deny some of the tangible (RE: $$$, recruiting, match-ups) advantages you #VT4SEC folks tout.

Also, it's becoming clear why the BIG10 re-branded as the B1G - the last digit is a moving target. Wonder if the graphic design team is starting to work on a B2G logo. Seems like it might be prudent.

How about keeping all the old Big East schools together, and we can split Wake and Duke.

A: Syracuse, B.C., Miami, Virginia Tech, Pitt, Louisville, Wake

B: FSU, Clemson, Virginia, Ga. Tech, UNC, NC State, Duke
