Klimpson is pushing to be number 16. VT4SEC
we'll have to compete directly against Harrell. Assuming the ACC survives long enough for Louisville to get here...
“I didn’t understand exactly how important technique was until I started to play my rookie year... Also, film study plays a huge role in the success of a left tackle, or any position in this league. That was something else I had to learn my first couple of years.”
As someone who played OL in high school I understood this! Granted, it may have been because I was an 5'10, 235 OG playing against DTs 6'3+, 270+, but I truly feel these were the things that were beat in our head from day 1 of summer camp when we weren't wearing pads (stupid VHSL rules!).
If this is truly the case, Newsome's departure is 7 years too late.

# | A Damning Indictment of Bryan Stinespring and Curt Newsome by "The Best Left Tackle In the NFL" This should be painfully obvious. Whether it's linemen being pushed into the backfield or a pulling lineman who doesn't even hit anyone. Our line needs a whole lot of work but we have some talent so the cupboards aren't bare. #ToddWashington #JakeGrove

# | A Damning Indictment of Bryan Stinespring and Curt Newsome by "The Best Left Tackle In the NFL" I remember thinking when Houston drafted him in the first round in 2008 that they had made a huge mistake. He certainly was a good player for us, but the pick just seemed like an obvious reach based on a run on tackles prior to their pick. This explains everything.
Agree. Plus, you'd have to believe younger coaches relate better to the high school kids. Granted, prestigious head and assistant coaches (and those that played/coached in the NFL) have a unique reverence.
LSU would be Terry Funk - kind of crazy, HATED Flair, had epic battles with Flair.
aTm would be Arn Anderson - not the most popular, but a hard worker.
Florida and Auburn would be the Road Warriors - they've been dominant champions, but can't always sustain the success.
So many potential good ones in old school NWA. If Bama is 80s Flair, I'd say Auburn is 80s Dusty. He's won a championship here and there, but in the end, Flair is always going to come out on top.

# | A Damning Indictment of Bryan Stinespring and Curt Newsome by "The Best Left Tackle In the NFL" Wow, just wow.
The ACC would never do anything to prevent Miami and FSU from being cross-divisional rivals.
went to the RU game with my buddy who's a huge RU fan.
its late so ill keep this short.
1) bridgewater is a baller. broken wrist and foot, i dont even know, he had a 76% completion rate. son of a mother duck. thats good.
2) louisville fans dont travel at all. there were probably 50 maximum louisville fans there.
3) Rutgers fans sit down on 1st and 2nd down. they only stand on 3rd downs. kinda lame. felt real bad for them though. epitome of a sour loss.

Florida State

is the bigger loss.
Kent State - getting points, winning out right. this will be the better game to watch on friday. give me the home team and bcs buster, who lost to neKtucky!!
Stanford - covering. ucla might have saved a trick or 2, but they didn't save the more fundamentally sound team trick. cardinal roll.
Oklahoma - laying the points. betting on a shootout, going sooners. if a grinder, i lose.
Georgia - outright win. they can't always suck balls in big games and bama isn't invincible.
Georgia Tech - getting the points. because #goacc dictates the jackets either win or make it so damn ugly, it rubs off on fsu
Nebraska - t-magic has got 1 more in him, huskers cover going away.
i want to do an NWA - SEC comparison.
ric flair 80's is definitely bama and dusty and his quirkiness is probably lsu?

May seem like a murderers row in the west, but I'm just thinking about this from a pure PR perspective. One of the reasons SEC teams always get so hyped (other than the fact that they beat everyone else) is that they "play an SEC schedule." It could be very beneficial to the ACC to have one of the toughest divisions in football, at least on paper.
It also creates more match-ups likely to be 3:30 or 8 p.m. games, thus giving more exposure to the league and its key match-ups. #NONOONKICKS
You have more natural geographic rivals playing each other every year with these divisions as well.
From an ACC Championship Game perspective, I'm guessing 9 times out of 10 you'll have either FSU, Clemson or VT from the West and the East is there for the taking for NC State or UNC, if the Heels aren't on probation. Would make for good attendance in Charlotte.
Brilliant.
Something about being a better personnel manager than offensive strategist.
Not that I agree with the argument, since his "specialty" is supposedly the offense and he is incompetent at best at that.
Head coach needs to be someone who can command respect from his players and staff and is knowledgeable about the game to the point where he is a valuable resource for them, and I don't think Stinespring is capable of either of those roles.
Huh
...shtick! That legs of her are like a blur. If we don't get her, Chip Kelly will, he got to be fantasizing already.
Anyway, did y'all notice what offense she ran right out of? The single wing, if I'm not mistaken.
/DIED.

On Wed, Bubba C spoke very candidly about the ACC in a radio
interview with Taylor Zarzour on The Drive in Charlotte. The topic of ND
Football came up.
Question was asked: "Bubba, do you ever see a situation or
circumstance where ND Football would join the ACC?"
Bubba: "No. They have everything exactly the way they want it and it is
not going to happen."
(From TSL, which granted isn't the best source...but I buy it)
