I think they are watching Inception on TNT maybe I should have started a topic about that

thats all I can say about the game...I just want to see PJ Explode

If all the people aren't here, then where are they? They're certainly not at the game. At least we know VT sellls out games in Charlotte.

those teams had no idea that the B1G was shopping for new markets. Delaney kept his plans close to the vest and surprised a lot of people with the UMD/Rutgers moves. The money that a failing program like UMD is going to earn has opened a lot of eyes and make AD's and execs start to think "what if?" and do some comparison shopping. I do think that UNC/Duke/WFU will stay in the ACC, but would not surprise me at all to see GTech and possibly UVA too take the B1G money if a spot is offered. NCSU would like go to the SEC I think since they do not have the "intellectual hubris" that membership in the AAU causes IMO.

How long until FSU's second team gets put in?

Oh boy cant wait to hear him talk all game

Unless this gets taken away too

Interesting considering Yow wanted a head coach that could recruit the south.

It might mean Tony Franklin will be available if Beamer Co. decides to move in that direction.

He sparked the offense at the beginning of the game and then it stalled big-time once he hit the pine with 2 quick fouls. Rankin will have to step his game up or I fear we'll run Green into the ground this season once conference play picks up.

Part of giving up easy looks is Johnson keeps having them double down into the post (I don't know why Barksdale, Raines, and Wood are perfectly capable defenders) and the backside isn't dropping fast enough. Plus, we are never going to be out of games because WE CAN FLAT OUT SCORE. We are finally running an offense instead of pass it around the perimeter and hoist a 3 at the end of the shot clock. Plus one thing that Greenberg actually did well was he taught these guys how to play good D. I'm telling you look for these guys to make a run in the ACC

Maybe if this year turns out ok we'll be able to recruit (and keep them) and keep building on success...

We are giving up to many easy looks in the paint, and we have trouble passing the ball inside. Most of our own looks in the paint either come from someone taking it themself or off of an offensive board. Just a few of the things I have noticed frequently over the past few games.

However, we look a lot better through 7 games than I expected. If we can keep improving, we should position ourselves clearly above the bubble come selection Sunday.

look at research numbers re: VT versus UVA .. It's not even comparable. VT will be in the AAU (likely) within 5 yrs. They are very close to being there. VT is just as good (if not a better) fit as UVA is for the B1G

UNC ... however ... is an ABSOLUTE no-brainer for the B1G

We are not in the Association of American Universities. UVA is. So is Georgia Tech. The only B1G school not in the AAU is Nebraska, and they were a member at time of acceptance into the B1G. Something I just learned recently is that the B1G is not just an athletic conference, they are also a 13 school research coalition (including the university of Chicago, who was a charter member of what became the B1G)

It was a general comment when I said that we have so much trouble stopping them, I know our defense has played great games against them and terrible games against them. Our offense has a hard time scoring against them most of the time. That was my argument, how come these lower tier teams can score and stop their offense and we seem to have trouble. Also i stand corrected on the presybyterian, i meant middel tenn. I just have trouble understanding it that is all i was stating. Gt has failed against alot of lower tier teams and they seem to always be a thorn in our side, even in win. With the exception of danny coale and boykin and logan tearing them up.

but also don't believe that we have not been in some form of contact with them on a continual, discrete basis for some time now. Weaver-speak is very specific and can allow for a multitude of white lies.
