simple and sweet, picking the favorites (not A&M), even with the spreads.

...in that position. Anyways,

Wildcats -6.5
Buckeyes -17.5
Gatas (in SEC voice) +1.5
Tygas -23.5
Huskers -5.5
Bulldawwwgggs -1.5

K ST -- I'll never pick Miami for anything, ever.
UCF -- Hopeful pick.
TAMU -- May sound crazy, but they've got something to prove...and UF made me scared of us playing Bowling Green until I realized that UF sucks.
LSU
Nebraska
Mizzou -- My brother is a UGA grad. He has zero faith in their defense since Ogletree and Rambo aren't playing. Therefore, neither do I.

I agree that Exum was totally ineffective on that touchdown play, but by squaring up against the cut block from the wing back he kept his feet and was able to make a tackle attempt on the ball carrier later in the play. (a tackle he missed).

following your described technique he'd have been cut block to the ground as the wing back takes out his inside leg and there would've been no clean up tackler.

The only real problems on that play were 3 missed tackles - Jarrett and Tyler both failed to break down and keep the RB in front of them, then Exum dove at the RB instead of closing and tackling. In fact everyone seemed to trying to make diving highlight reel tackle on that play instead of moving their feet to get into good position.

Exum's job was to seal the outside on any boundary runs and keep the runner inside where Jarrett and Tyler could clean it up. He did that very well throughout the game.

Because these are all Dogs (not dawgs)

Kansas State -- Even with 6, count them 6! fumbles Boston College STILL racked up over 500 yards on Miami. DaU is like watching bumper cars zipping at 60mph.
UCF -- Their win against Akron was just as impressive as tOSU's. I dont think it will be close but not over 3 scores.
Florida -- EW? On one hand watching UF play Bowling Green was like watching a one armed man in a rowboat. Nonetheless, its aTm's first game with too many new schemes and coaches.
LSU -- Probably a dumb pick with that many points but UDub scoring 21-12 agaisnt SDSU doesnt inspire a lot of confidence.
Nebraska -- Win by a TD at least. Taylor Martinez looked pretty solid
DAWGS -- Too much defensive talent. Welcome to the $EC

BOTW: Tried a Post Road Pumpkin Ale at SheSha in BBurg this last weekend. Stellar.

KSU - Home field advantage, well coached, young hurricanes, Cats by 10.
OSU - At the horseshoe, primetime, UCF may keep it interesting midway through, but the Buckeyes pull away late in 3rd - Urban by 20.
aTm - by a field goal, home field advantage gets them this win, Florida was not all that impressive last week at all.
Washington - agree with beercontrol here, LSU by about 3 TD's.
Nebraska - Big Red gets it done by 2 TD's - Martinez has a solid performance.
Georgia - welcome to the SEC Mizzou, Dawgs by 7.

Kansas State -6.5
Central FLA +17.5
Florida +1.5
Washington +23.5
Nebraska -5.5
Georgia -1.5

NFL season kicked off Wednesday with the first touch going to a Hokie. DW return the opening kick-off!

Other not so notable firsts:
First penalty - Jayron Hosely on a punt return.
First fumble (turnover): DW

DW was getting good press. Keep your head up!

hoping i have a better second week... oooof!

Misery- Gotta go with my home state!

but that's just me.

Miami - 11AM kick local time? yeah ok. Miami because they are used to playing in an empty stadium.
UCF - UCF isn't any better than 2003 when we beat them by 21. I also think this tOSU squad is better than our 2003 squad. However, the transitive property comparison theory doesn't work with football (ref: any WVU fan talking about us and clemson) so UCF to cover.
TAMU - Once Kevin Sumlin figures out that Muschamp's plan of starting 11 quarterbacks is just an optical illusion that has nothing to do with Star Wars, TAMU should win.
LSU - Didn't we lose by more than 23.5 in a similar setup with a better team? Oh yeah the transitive property comparison theory doesn't work with football. Except in tiger stadium at night.
Nebraska - sand, sun, and silicone makes better cheerleaders but corn, corn, and corn makes better football players.
UGA - This will feel a lot like the SC/Vandy game and will end a lot like the SC/Vandy game.

I'd like to point out that while Jarrett snaps him back, THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN takes Washington out low for the classic leg whip effect!
