I plan on being there, and I'll do my best to be more of the observer as to how individuals are performing rather than watching as the casual fan

and will try to tweet what I see. I'll also summarize/transalte said tweets on this board as my wife drives my hungover @$$ home sunday morning/afternoon (even though she doesn't realize it yet).

can I sneak my dog into Lane saturday? we'll see....

Important note, Torian said Bonner and Jarrett moved back to corner to replace fuller. 1) Versatility is good. 2) I hope Michael Cole is good enough to win the starting safety spot.

LOL. Yes, that particular shirt is awful. But I am pretty sure we could come up with an O&M camo pattern that doesn't look like it came from the discount rack in Walmart's sporting goods section!

I guess it's better than the black helmet. And it's for a good cause, so ok.

and I'll paraphrase because his twitter account is protected: "Looking forward to college" and "JC is going to be real good next year."

Hopefully, with all these visits to VT, he'll bond with several other players and recruits, making VT that must attend school.

From that article, it looks like he may be high on LSU, so it may end up being a VT, SEC, tOSU battle. Stay home Bucky, VT has made you their #1 priority (as he should be).

but i like the digi camo alot, save the navy ones. gotta be hot as shit on the flight deck in that much blue.

that said i'm a big fan of canadian, australian and swedish camo. old job, i got to do a lot of joint stuff and saw others country's camo.

Great cause to support, glad we are doing it. But why not orange and maroon camo? Why do we always mess with our colors? I just think they are special and like how unique they are. I think orange and maroon camo would raise even more money too.

It's just that between all the made for tv non saturday games and "insert color here" outs to benefit good causes it feels like a saturday in blacksburg where we play football in orange and maroonis a thing of the past. Maybe i am.just old

Please don't take this as me not being down for the cause. Totally not the case.

they wear every Sunday home game (military appreciation day). I believe Army football has gone all camo for some games as well. There are definitely much worse looks and any shout out to the troops is well warranted.

Patterson tweeting after the season and before the Bowl game with Exum, saying he was leaving the team, but not VT. So, I don't think the article is right about Patterson going to another football program. I think he simply "retired" from football, and now is a regular VT student. Best of luck to him.

I couldn't really see Shane being able to get a whole lot of power into a 10 foot long poll in order to try and knock the ball out. At least from there it looks like he can pack a pretty good punch and be accurate at the same time.
