I was so loud in support of my Hokies when on D (and various Let's Go Chants that I started) that some boring wake fans moved because they couldn't handle the noise. I never say anything bad about the other team, I just bellow in support of my Hokies. I feel proud that I made people move. Also, Hokie fans saluted me as they left the game, after it had ended of course.

Doesn't hate the Hokies, just doesn't have a good enough reason to be obsessed with them (no title shots in recent years, no heisman candidates, no major wins on nat tv, not in SEC, not involved with major violations)...
Still, I agree. The drive he put together to comeback and win... On 4th down!!!!! Totally undervalued. Had an SEC team done this, it would be considered the play of the year. Just sayin

Every defensive down it seemed like they were blasting some sort of "pump up music" yet the Hokie fans (myself included of course) in attendance actually seemed to make more noise when we were on D.
But MY do they have a nice Scoreboard. Hopefully we can upgrade HokieVision eventually. The Bass that thing put out would add a little something extra to enter sandman to say the least...

The stadium and the amount of artificial noise REALLY annoyed me. And Wake is my #2 school due to family-ties. They were definitely over-confident and after a BAD first quarter in all aspects of the game (minus punting) VT showed up and actually played well on all sides of the ball in a 38-17 domination of Wake, who is actually a good team in my opinion. The loss of Hosely could be a major factor in how the defense plays for the remainder of the season, however.
Those Wake Forest people, sheesh. Win a couple games and you turn into magnificent douchebags. I mean, say it was roles reversed, and UVA beat FSU and such, I'm not going to suddenly go out and scream "LOLZ VT SUCKORZ". You get cocky like that, and, well, you get dismantled at home 38-17.
Glad we could help you out versus Georgia Tech. Now you can see, they're beatable without a doubt. Just gotta be ready to handle their triple option. Note the Maryland and UVA game versus GT- their quarterback was the only one doing anything, because everything else got locked up. That's why a triple option offense is such a double-edged sword.
I think you guys had a burble and I see a VT/Clemson rematch in the ACC Championship game.

Was after David Wilson's shoeless big run, a guy a few rows in front of me turned around and said "You know what he'll be doing tomorrow...." I was confused, and he therefore elaborated saying "He'll be eating Chick-fil-a" Highlight of the night.

Wow! what a delightful game and indeed a pleasure to watch. You must now realize and with out a doubt give the back ups credit for a job well done.This goes to show you that you have a team and not just 11 guys and given an opportunity to play with accumaltive amount of reps you will see progress. This takes away the theory or statment that I have been so tired of hearing the coaches say" we don't trust the back ups" or there is a drop in experience". Again, given ample playing time like anythig else brings forth results. I am starting to wonder if we are suppose to play a select few?
You mention Zack Mcray, is not getting it done at this time. You are not the only one who sees this or have even mention this. The same comments have been made with the kicker Demler and took an embarassment moment and boos from the crowd for the coaches to make a change, that should not be. Well the same should go for Z.M, if he is not getting it done after 7 games than we need to do exactly what you have mentioned and give D.P.M a shot, it is only fair. I will say this again each time D.P.M is in the game for limited snaps, he will do something good, imagine increase playing time and given a series of snaps what he will be able to accomplish. D.P.M and T.W should be the DE back ups. Please understand, I have nothing against Z.M, he just needs another year to develop. Go Hokies!!!
