When I thought this was a personal collection
As of now the question becomes, in the way of Texas....does the ACC form a Super Conference with them, Pitt, Cuse and another team?

What a double edged sword these good Thursday night games are. I don't like making picks w/out being properly sauced so I will only go with the Thursday night game and finish with the rest of the picks on Friday, after I get a few in me.
Stark-Vegas - A home dog on a Thursday night. A completely hot cheerleader doesn't hurt either. Not that the LSU ones are bad, but BCO has posted a MSU one so I am going with them. Also, the mad hatter and Jarrett Lee have to screw up at some point, don't they. Now that I am at .500 on the season, I am guessing LSU wins by 4 but I am sticking with the dogs.
Auburn - F Clemson. I think I see that more on the interwebs than just a normal Clemson. I think Clemson should win this game, but they will disappoint the ACC just like they always do. The fact that they are giving up points make it worse.
WVU - I said it before, wrongly, that Maryland never delivers when you want them to. Well they certainly won't do it here. Red zone woes won't cut it in this game b/c they are facing a much better team than Miami and maybe the best in the Big East. I know lots of people from Pittsburgh that went to WVU and most of them couldn't find Maryland on the map, much less consider this a rivalry. Maryland hates Dook, but only in hoops. WVU hates Pitt and Marcus Vick.
Tennessee - Lots of points but think about this. Muschamp is intense and fiery. So are Brian Kelly and Mike Stoops. How are their records? It is great to yell and scream and blow a gasket when you are an AC or DC but not as a head coach. You have to keep your head in the game. Plus Tyler Bray has a sweet back tat, maybe the best in CFL.

tOSU - Princess Jacory Harris.
Oklahoma - Bobby Bowden is one of the best coaches ever. So is Jimbo Fisher. The Noles have never had more talent and better coaching than what they have now. This may be the best team ever in the history of man. There is a lot of pressure on the staff and team with this game. I don't trust Big Game Bob away from home but it is more than me just hoping that FSU doesn't win, even though it is good for the ACC and VT. I will love/hate watching this game but chances are I won't remember much of it.
Tonight's picks are brought to you by the previously mentioned Augustiner Bräun Edelstoff (H/T juxtahokie). One thing I love and can always depend on is a proper German bar will always have multiple pilsners and lagers available. My wife stopped by a beer store by her office on her way home today and the owner suggested the Edelstoff. Incredible. Took me about 2 minutes (probably less) to drink the first one it is so smooth. Most likely it will be Trummer Pils tomorrow as it seems I have drank my Hokie bar out of Rogers. Anyway, Oktoberfest is a holiday I can really get behind.
GO HOKIES.
they're all up on a wall in the second floor of squires
I'm thinking Hosley for a punt return
I'm only missing bottom left & middle out of those... and I got a friend still in Bburg to buy this year's for me too :D
Definitely will be an exciting slate of games next year... I may eat crow once Alabama and Ohio State are on the Schedule.
Auburn - Clemson sucks
West Virginee
Tennessee - they lose but cover
Ohio State - I hate both teams
Okleehomer - I'm picking against the acc to win any big games until i'm proved wrong
Next year's schedule is much more desirable to me*: at Pitt, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, and what I'd assume to be a mystery, to be named later, I-AA opponent. Pitt's a program we struggled against while we were in the Big East, but the Wanstache era didn't take them to the next level like Beamer did after we moved to the ACC. Cincy at FedEx, Brian Kelly isn't there anymore, and even if he was I wouldn't worry about them. MACtion.
Point being, this is a winnable non-conference schedule, again we should be favored in every game, but it's more challenging, and exciting than what we're facing this year. I know Weaver wants one BCS, two non-BCS and a I-AA team on the schedule every year, but I'd like to substitute one of the non-BCS teams for a middle-tier BCS school. There's always going to be more of a buzz, and a better game that way.
*It's noted that this schedule is perfect for LT3's first year as a starter.
Except I think I was too creeped out to laugh. I wanted to, but I was just too scared. Good job but you gave me nightmares as well. My worries about an eventual Planet of the Apes has been replaced by Planet of the Wolves.
I take that back. It will be hard to get them in potential safety situations with 35 yard punts. You were right.
22 safeties is most likely. Dominant D
It does feel weird. I wish we were playing a quality OOC opponent or two, not a top 5 team, but somebody like WVU, Penn State, or Tennessee. Actually, these are all teams that could potential big time rivals if we scheduled them consistently. WVU rivalry is currently dead :( or at least in a coma.
Who's is this? I only have the top row middle Maroon Effect. I found the whole 'effect' thing a little bourgeois while I was in school.
12 field goals, 1 touchdown, missed extra point, and a safety.
This seems most likely.
I can definitely see that too.. but i would rather save that for the Clemson game. I have a feeling it be more meaningful that way. I am anxious to see how Clemson fares this weekend.
Is it just me, or does it feel really strange NOT playing in a huge season-defying game early in the season. Feels like something is missing. (Oh, maybe that something is a 1 in the L column) but it still feels weird.
5 touchdowns and 3 field goals.
OR
6 touchdowns and a safety.
OR
12 field goals, 1 touchdown and a 2-point conversion.
OR
12 field goals, 1 touchdown, missed extra point, and a safety.
OR
something different altogether.
I think there's a real good chance we house a kickoff. Memphis didn't have the talent to break one, but Arkansas State was very undisciplined with their special teams, lots of arm tackles and players getting out of their lanes.
I'm feeling a Jayron pick6 this weekend
I think the occasional designed LT3 runs can definitely be a big part of the offense but it seemed like that was every 3rd down attempt vs. ECU. I'm glad he picked them up but I'd just like to see a little more variety.
I spit my drink out when you tweeted this yesterday. Please someone make this into a gameday sign.
Like O'cains play calls thus far.
35-13. I think we'll carry the ball at least 35 times against their D. LT throws it under 20.

If 14/16 team conferences are the wave of the future, it makes sense to be proactive. It would also help connect BC to the rest of the conference. I'd prefer the conference stays at 12 teams but that just isn't going to happen.
