The UNC/Ohio State. There's just TOOOOOO much out there, with the players taking direct incentives. And, the NCAA may have had the foresight to wait until after the supplemental draft to hand them down. Who knows what kind of craziness would have ensued had several of these players simply tried to apply for the supplemental draft to circumvent any punishment.

At least Cam could plead (maybe) ignorance because his pops took some cash. (Btw, that just sends a horrible message and bad precendent to future players. Let your parents take the money, buy you a car, etc, and your hands are clean.)

Great write-up! Though I would have used the demotivators poster as it makes the first image even better. I agree with you that GT has been a tough competitor, that CPJ has lost most of his key assets recently.

The thing that still surprises me the most is that Wake Forrest has more sole ACC titles than Miami, UVA or BC and that Duke is the last of the NC schools to win a portion of the ACC title back in 1989.

Riding YORMOM was the best $10 I ever spent
Cracked me up every time.
Got some hilarious attention as well.

I've been wondering the same thing. If either Miami or the NCAA confirmed an iota of what was reported by Yahoo! I can't imagine them playing a snap this season.

1. Mazda RX-2, rotary engine, in a sedan (it was actually really fast) - engine seized after going home one weekend. My first car, I bought it in HS.
2. 1969 Mustang Fastback, real nice ride, totalled early summer after junior year.
3. Summer - 1968 Buick LaSabre, cost $75 at police auction, it ran well and I drove it off the lot. A land yacht!
4. Ford station wagon for senior year. Faux wood grain side panels. Ugh. But I could move all my stuff in it.

Wow.
holy cow, this is one of the best preview videos yet
love how it highlights our current playmakers from last season.
seriously fired up after that

Also, can we get a video of every big play where danny coale is wide open?
Feel like that might be an hour long!

Pickory Harris + 12 others have officially been declared ineligible... taking bets on whether they get the Cam Newton or a UNC...

Last year I was one of those freshman the first weekend heading to foxridge...Wasn't quite man enough to ask the driver where they were, but ended up just walking around foxridge for a good 2 or 3 hours before calling it quits and heading back to the dorm. Best part? I now live right next to the bus stop that I first got off at in foxridge.

Totally saw an identical ride on my way to campus this morning... in El Paso. Cracked me up ^_^

That's good stuff. I also like the first couple of weeks when cops showed up to a party. You could tell the freshmen by who tossed out their beer without being asked to and/or took off running!!

Former BT driver here. First weekend after classes start, Friday night about 9, I pull up to Burruss with a pile of freshmen waiting.

"Hey, people told us to get on this bus to find parties! Can you tell us where parties are?"

I wound up just telling them all to get off at the middle Foxridge stop. It was easier than explaining reality.

I doubt we see a whole lot of DW on kick returns this year, given THE MAN status that has been bestowed upon him....Although, can you imagine the fits that a coach (say maybe someone in the ATL) would have would have trying to choose whether to kickoff to Dyrell or DW? Kinda makes you salivate, doesn't it?

The whole thing, I just ...

Like cliff diving or ferret ownership, football is an endeavor best watched from the sidelines. Witness acts of bodily bravery with today’s GrouponLive deal to a Boston College Eagles home football game at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill. Choose from the following options:

The team that birthed the golden arms of Doug Flutie and Matt Ryan returns to the gridiron for another season of making legends and chasing the BCS bowl. Populated with brawny engineering majors, the nation’s best run defense plans to erect the same frontline ramparts that made the unit such a success in its 2010 campaign. Quarterback Chase Rettig refuses to let them do all the heavy lifting as the second-year sharpshooter sinks his talons into the ball and scans the field with eagle-eyed acumen. Rettig will have plenty of help on his side of the field, as senior running back Montel Harris returns to break the Atlantic Coast Conference records for all-time rushing yards and whimpers elicited from opposing safeties.

The 44,500-seat Alumni Stadium allows Boston College to reap the benefits of its illustrious history, as the ghosts of former squads invisibly join end-zone crowds to cheer on their torchbearers. Fans clad in maroon and gold can take in scenic views of the Boston skyline between downs or revel at the immediate beauty of the stadium’s brick-and-glass façade.

Oregon has amazing beer....was out there at the beginning of the month and drank so much Deschutes, Rogue, McMenamins, and all the other microbreweries in Portland!

After watching that video, two things continue to stand out.. 1.) David Wilson's speed up the sideline on the return against N.C. State is stupid(7:30) and 2.) Danny Coale is still open!

I am itching for the App. State game!!

We may have the most dynamic kickoff & punt return men in all of CFB

David Wilson & Jayron Hosley are beyond explosive!

I expect to see quite a few large returns during our first 4 scrimmages to start the season

Many of the reporters salivate over seeing the first teams go at it as they surmise it being the best look at the final products going into the first game. As fun as it is to watch however, I think people get too caught up in the ups and downs of these scrimmages. LT throws a TD, Awesome! On the flip side Danny Coale burned a second string DB. They take these moments to prognosticate on field performance. Its silly. LT wouldnt go up against an all american DB in Hosley every single game. Worried our second string D is letting DW jetpack by them? uggghhh if anything it will be a more accurate showing of the competition he'll face this year.

Anything Hokie Football related gets me all sorts of pumped. Think, Rick Flair type jazzed up, but through the off season I keep all the talk concerning outside shots of an NC, ranking, depth, etc in a speculative area of my brain. Too many fans get caught up in one area or another making expectations rise out of control. As Joe pointed out yesterday OUR TEAM WILL LOSE. The chance to go 12-0 is pretty damn difficult. Auburn did sure, but by the hairs on their chin vs the likes of Klempsun, USC (not the SECCG), and Bama. This year was supposed to be under the radar anyhow. Woopsies!

I like where we stand right now. I keep the Bart scott mantra going strong, "CANT WAIT!" Im just excited to dish out high fives like candy from a van.
