The men didnt run clock unfortunately. Went back last night and looked at second half possessions. Last five minutes we had six possessions of 15 seconds or less.
FAM
Big road win. Hopefully 3 pt shooting moves closer to the 35% mark

# | Washington QB announces transfer to LSU a week after signing NIL contract with UW, chaos ensues - UPDATE - remains at UW But how can you buile a team around him?
Sources tell @On3sports that QB Demond Williams Jr. and Washington have been in dialogue throughout Thursday. Williams is leaning toward a return to Washington, but nothing is official or done. https://t.co/kmRKb1HOs6 pic.twitter.com/i54kCZ4CS6โ Pete Nakos (@PeteNakos) January 9, 2026
Also, someone had posted a copy of that B1G contract template on reddit earlier, which i think has a clause stating the institution didn't have to enter an NIL contracted player into the portal
Xavier Gilliam to Tennessee. Not a position of need for us, but one of the best players in the portal at any position.
Yeah, the OU fans on reddit seem to be saying the same. His biggest problem was injuries, but he was always working to get back in and was seemingly decent enough when he was in
Not sure if an impressive feat or an indictment of how bad or OL was last year.
Yeah I'm not up for a repeat of what the men did last night. I want them to go for the jugular and that's what they are apparently doing.
So hard to know who either of these teams are especially after the 3 quarters tonight against Syracuse so far
Just run clock and trade baskets now in the fourth.
62-41 HOKIES. end of third

I believe we need a plug and play LT for next year. Our issues at LT are a direct result of Chaplin transferring out last offseason. You can blend the two strategies, plus it's less of a portal add and more of a Hokie starter who took a year off from being a Hokie starter.
I found him, former Hokie transferred to Auburn. Looks like only 1 year remaining I believe. Who can tell these days? It appears as Franklin & Staff are targeting players with multiple years remaining so I would guess not. Think 2027 more than 2026.
Thamel reporting on Gameday that he's likely going to return to Washington
Position of most need second only to QB. Would like to add at least one more.
Now having lost one or two we should have won; what do you think is the change in number of q1 wins we need to get with remaining schedule to feel good?
Glad we didn't have a letdown coming out of halftime.
If he wanted to have his DUI ignored he should've transferred to Wisconsin where you get your first 3 DUIs free
Got to figure out how to get Wentzel more efficient.
Currently ranked as the #7 OT in the portal by 247 with a 92 grade. Last year he was #2 with a 95 grade.

He was on campus but not sure he was at the game.
