Started 6 games as LT in 2024, including vs Missouri, Alabama, and LSU.
OU ran for 257 against Bama in a 24-3 victory

Agreed, it was a great listen!!
Darren Heitner is a leech on the broken NIL system.
In the end, these are the People that are really profiting from this Wild West shitshow---NIL "agents" and "NIL Attorneys"
Also, I'm not sure that Heitner really had much to do with the end result of the Lucas situation. Wisconsin ultimately sued Univ. Of Miami, it's not real clear to me what ended up happening, but I'm sure UM has much more esteemed Council than DudeBro Heitner, Esq.
Heitner represented the player, but he really didn't have to do much as there are no penalties in a system that has no actual rules.
Did we get our Left Tackle?
French had commented LT wasn't on the roster yet.
(Sons of Saturday podcast is a great listen with French as a guest, BTW. Well worth the time to hear his views. )
Until I see an official VT announcement, I'm nervous.
Our roster is going to be drastically improved in a few short months. Hopefully we can get the X's and O's humming in year 1!
It's all about the trench work
Generally states and DMVs give full faith and credit to DUI license suspensions and will honor them if you move and change your licensing state. I say generally because DMVs are kingdoms unto themselves answerable to no one other than God (and that's a maybe). I don't know what Alabama does but I know from professional experience that NC, MD, PA and Oklahoma honor them.

Man, when a sports agent cuts ties with you for ethical reasons, you know you're a shithead
Or Bobby Bonilla and Omar Minaya

Really surprised ESPN Analytics has it that close. Was expecting 70+% since its up there and they will kill us inside. Unless we Reverse Uno our 3% from last game and shoot like 60% I am not expecting a win here.
Like most contract with large sums of money, every one is different. Some have pay out dates and milestones. Some are lump sum at various times. Some have requirements for public face time. All depends on how they are written, and that's why agents and lawyers are involved. Nothing is boilerplate in the NIL landscape.
If you are going to jack up junk...put it ten rows into the seats so you are set on defense by the time the ball is inbounded
I agree. The WBB loss to Miami and last night's MBB loss to Standford...woof. Those are going to be hard to make up for as any wins going forward are going to feel like a fluke until it's a sustained string of wins.
But, like you, I'll never stop rooting for them! GO HOKIES!
It would be great if we could find out the legalese in those NIL contracts. Are there time windows to change your mind? A payout to the NIL fund if you cancel early, like in this case? Or is it just rather plain that the NIL money gets paid to the athlete while they are a "representative" of the university in question? So many different ways this cat can be skinned, but AFAIK those details have never been made public?
Like HokieRif said in other words...the stench at LaneSU keeps growing and growing!
Cuddly bunny?
Lol.
I'm not sure what the "real world" is anymore, but I'm pretty sure that anything within eyesight or earshot of the NCAA is not it...
The NIL bubble is whole entire different kettle of fish.

Boom!
