Lots of great nuggets in there. French is a tough, but fair critic. Was very pleased and excited to hear his commentary regarding our transfers.
Love how he described Grunk's strengths. The guy sounds like a QB surgeon. Love his take on what he believes are our top two defensive returners in Chambers and Robinson in two positions of great need.
And, my favorite little nugget that got me all toasty inside.....and I quote Mr. French Sticks w/ Syrup:
"Bill Davis is a 5'9" version of Branden Ore.
At 235 lbs, if he resembles one of the greatest RB's that never was at VT, then we are in for a treat next season. To this day, I still wonder what Brandon Ore would have done....
True. Yeesh
Things went from rosy to less than in a heartbeat this season. Between the men and the women, I really don't think we have much to show at this point. I'll still watch, still root hard, but it's just getting harder and harder after the bright early season wins.
The Hokies have to shoot, Carleigh has to score, but I still have little hope for this game tonight.
The only good angle is the agent firing his client. When an agent has more morals...
Well, honestly, why would you care?
Fear not he has kiffin kajun kast
Welcome back to TKP-weird sub-threads are our jam!
well this is disgusting from nearly every angle
Yeah that story disappeared as soon as it popped up. I'm wondering if there was any kind of resolution on it myself
Please move these gif/show discussions to their own OT thread.
I'm sure many like me have no interest, especially when monitoring TKP during portal season.
Dude's gonna end up like Milton in Office Space. Fired but not notified and keeps drawing a paycheck.

Heitner also represented the player that moved from Wisconsin to Miami and unfortunately nothing stopped that kid from playing this year.
You take your shirt off, but leave your sunglasses on? What sort of backwards fuckin' pageantry is that?

# | Washington QB announces transfer to LSU a week after signing NIL contract with UW, chaos ensues - UPDATE - remains at UW
True 4-3 strong side outside linebacker (think Jack Ham and Wilbur Marshall role.) At Penn State, he would line up over the tight end or to the passing strength, but he got replaced when Penn State went to nickel. He was the backup to Tony Rojas, who went down with injury.
I watched him against Northwestern and he put up six tackles. I heard he played well against Clemson in the bowl game, but I only watched offensive reps so I will take another look.
100% agreed. The only shots taken with more than 5s on the shot clocks should be wide open dunks or layups. Other than that you eat the clock and go back and setup on D. Not jack up junk and then get beat on the other end multiple times as well. And if someone is to tired to attack the basket and get back on D then get them the heck off the court.

In JMFF We Trust. If he does what many think he is going to do, over time, we should be able to invest more NIL to capture greater talent and then look to upgrade our coaching staff. CMY, appears in many ways to be a great guy, a decent coach, but is not going to bring VT BB to the level we would like to see - a consistent upper echelon ACC team who consistently makes MM.
I reject your reality and insert my own :)
Totally forgot to mention Pasha. Great point. Hammond's FT% is masterclass.

I wasn't impressed and haven't been impressed with any VT LB in years. Won't miss him and think he will be a dud at AL.
For his sake, I hope I'm wrong.
Franklin is a professed hip hop fan. If he is not coaching up Chambers to change is number to 36, then what are we even doing here? James Franklin is for the children!

# | Washington QB announces transfer to LSU a week after signing NIL contract with UW, chaos ensues - UPDATE - remains at UW and whatever happened with the Darren Heitner stuff? That story got buried as soon as it surfaced. The last news article I can find is from Oct 1 which didn't have anything new to say about the specific player, and went into more details on the overall situation in college football
I want to believe this to be true, but I have seen so many times where people are just getting away with whatever the fuck they want nowadays and nobody steps in to curtail it. I have every expectation he ends up at LSU this year just like that kid from Wisconsin at Miami

Glad to have him.
Here is hoping he is a
