Looked completely non-competitive today.
Because I like the on-field chaos of the college game - the poor quarterback play (for real it makes it more interesting), the atmosphere, the rivalries, college kicker situations, the big upsets, the standout players, the wide hashes, the different offensive styles. The ridiculous insistence on retaining the idiotic postseason system because of "tradition" held the sport back for decades.
I hope he's absolutely irrelevant.
That's lame.
I hope they overpaid for him, and look forward to seeing him on the losing side in our match next year.
Underdeveloped or underutilized/misutilized. It could also be a case of having him try to fill holes other players left which hurt his production and play.
He wasn't part of the TX2VT crew, was he?
Really interesting intel, thank you
Mullen wins 9-5. And he is your heavyweight scuffle champion!
No, I don't want any UVA players transferring in ever. Last time we did that the long snapper lost us a game. I don't trust em.
I don't know if he's any good, but that's a shallow room and I don't like losing 6-8 redshirt freshman
Unless it's UVA2VT of course.

Does the TV money count in any way for WBB like it does for football? If so, keep your TV tuned in to keep our #s up, haha!
Hokies will be historical footnote for Louisville coach getting his 500th win.
OK had to turn it off. Just getting blown out because we cant score and giving them second and third chances on almost every miss by them.
So out of position for defensive rebounding. Lazy passing on offense.
They do have moments of bright spots...but they are fleeting moments. This has been tough to watch.
I had the same thought for both of them
Also former Hokie Justin Beadles is back in the portal from Louisville with previous stops at Houston and New Mexico St
Start second half by allowing them a 43 second first possession that had two fouls on Hokies, three out of bounds plays, two offensive rebounds and finally the bucket.
Estimates are that every year in FBS you see roughly 500-600 coach/asst coach changes across FBS each year. Last year there were 102 OC/DC changes alone.
There were 32 head coaches fired/left jobs this season. This creates an enormous amount of movement at player level.
We can eliminate Tulane and JMU from this conversation, they are not top 12 teams in the country and comparing us as a P4 school to a G5 isn't equal. We can also eliminate Indiana, as I said in my post that theory of roster building doesn't include coaches who moved and took a bunch of players with them.
Most of the best teams who are consistently at the top of the sport are building primarily through high school. The ones that don't are either going to in the future (Texas Tech as you mentioned) are in my opinion outliers among the "portal teams" (Ole Miss). The rest of the teams that live in the portal are inconsistent.
That isn't to say you shouldn't go portalling, especially for QB, but your bread is still buttered at high school recruiting and development.
0-10 from 3. Baker is 0-4 but 4-9 overall.
Starting 5 scored 21 points in 20 minutes.
Suffren only scorer off bench.
Fuck him. I don't like anyone who transfers from one team to their biggest rival.
That's 1 in 6 of all Division I players
Not getting the shot off to end the half epitomizes Wenzel's season.

0 for 16 from 3. Wenzel and Baker 0-9.
Wenzel 1-10 overall.
Suffren and Baker combine for 30. Rest of the team combine for 30.
18 turnovers
Did force 15 turnovers and only outscored 18/17 on turnovers.
85-60 loss.
