The really comical part about the Wahoowa fans not showing up to this game is they had a chance to support two of their ranked teams in the same day in Charlotte and failed at both. Their basketball team beat Dayton in Charlotte earlier in the day.

Look...I figured he would be involved with the program going forward in some capacity, even after how everything went down.
However, I did not expect it to be right back in his former role under Franklin at PSU. I know Pry is the type of guy most of us would like to have a beer with - but as for being the Big Whistle, eh, not so much at this point.
Maybe now that he doesn't have to micromanage everything else, and can focus solely on the Defense, it will turn out to be a better move than expected...?

Really not a fan of this move. Great guy. Our defenses though the last few year were dreadful, especially the Linebackers. Fine with him having a role in the program but just dont like this move outside of the cost mitigation.

My primary concern is this prevents us from a clean break. I want entire staff turnover and I worry this would prevent us from seeing the defensive staff changes I think are needed.
Hopefully they'll get the 12 seeds announced quick on the show tomorrow so we can all switch over to the NFL pregames. I really don't want to hear Joey Galloway try to justify whoever they put in there, because whatever point or metric he tries to use is going to be completely bullshit.

The announcers were trying to prop up the conference championship games, which have now become the biggest problem in the playoff era.
B1G - #1 vs #2, but completely undercut by knowing both teams will get in the CFP, and likely both get a first round bye. What is there to play for?
SEC and Big 12 - if the higher ranked teams lost (Georgia and Texas Tech), they still were very likely to get in the CFP. The lower ranked teams are 50/50 for getting in after losing.
ACC - Well, we all know about that one.
We either need to get the conferences expanded and consolidated so that the conference championships are the semi-finals (a la NFL), or set up the CFP in a way so the conference championships are the first round, and only the winners advance.
