Edit: I doubt anyone really would right away, they'd probably rather play in their bowl game or opt out to get ready for the draft. They'd likely announce for the portal after their bowl game.

Times definitely changed. I think I remember now that we were in the class of '72 and if we beat VMI 72-0 we'd get turned. We had a big game against them and scored a ton, but didn't make the mark for early release. Man, I hated that rat shit.

Glad it took them this long. Campbell is a good fit if you think Penn State can recruit itself and you just need a better "coach", but the process definitely puts them behind the curve and should help Franklin get VT up and running in the portal after already getting PSUs recruiting class.
