The Jacksonville Jaguars must sort out their running back room in training camp. Rookie Bhayshul Tuten ensured on the first day that he'll get ample consideration for the top spot on the depth chart.
Garry Smith of the Florida Times-Union reports that Tuten broke off a handful of big runs, adding that the rookie routinely showcased his top-notch speed to start training camp
I'll be at camp Friday and one day next week to see in person how he is doing.
Long story short, FSU went through a $265m renovation of Doak last year to gut one sideline to install a series of lower suites. The updates have now been finalized and come with a reduction of seating capacity that takes the stadium from around 80k capacity to 67k, slightly more than Lane.
It's season preview SZN!
The analysis was mid at best, but Dan and Ty (1) are high on the Hokies (like... 8ish wins high) and (2) shouted TKP/French's article on Seifkis so ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN!!!
TLDR:
Kirby Smart on 9-game SEC schedule:"I don't think we saw value in adding 9 more losses to our league last year, in terms of the way they picked the (Playoff) teams."If we are going to play a 9th game, we need the right people making the right decisions in terms of who goes... pic.twitter.com/rBHSnoO2HJโ SEC Mike (@MichaelWBratton) July 15, 2025
So fucking sick and tired of the SEC narrative. These assholes can't break away and form their own national championship fast enough.
"You have to invest in football, because that drives, that is the engine, as we've said over and over again, that is the engine," Williams said. "Without a clear investment in football that is visible, then, whether it's conference realignment or media rights or television deals or sponsorships, if you don't invest in the primary driver of this entire industry, then you're sending a message that you're you don't want to be a part of a national landscape moving forward, and we certainly want to be a part of the national landscape moving forward, and that starts with a proven track record of investing in the primary revenue driver."

Really looking forward to seeing him take reps this season. Got to shout out to him at season ticket holder rookie mini camp then again at OTA'S 2 weeks ago. Letting him know Hokies down here are excited.

Not sure if this is a full time gig next season so we are searching for a running backs coach or if this is like a developmental assignment. In reading other articles it seems like it's a summertime position.

Who's the best college football program of the 2000's? Ranking the top 25
Kinda wild to not have Bama at 1, but I guess I see their methodology if they are favoring consistency throughout. The Saban era didn't start until 2007 and they didn't win a natty until 2009, so that would skew the whole first decade of the 2000's against them.
As a Hokie fan it's nice to see our name in the top 25, but it also stings a bit knowing how far we've fallen since.

"These guys are in trouble, and most everyone expects there to be a staff change at the end of the season or earlier."
Its offseason. I had a hit from the vape and I came across Shady McCoy doing this for shitt https://www.youtube.com/shorts/697DlErQ5p0
I got to thinking: who are ours?
I posit this:
It seems like I am thoroughly disrespecting Antonio Freeman, Kam Chancellor, Wilson, Williams, and DHall (ugh)
Discuss.
I just read an interesting article regarding a newly enacted state law in Tennessee that would give universities in the state immunity from antitrust lawsuits by athletes/others, and shift any liability to the NCAA itself. Apparently the SEC is requiring its schools to sign a "Loyalty Pledge" stating that they will opt-out of any legislation similar to the one in Tennessee, or risk getting kicked out of the conference. It will be interesting to see who blinks first here.
In a historic gesture of generosity and unwavering loyalty, former Virginia Tech football standout DeAngelo Hall has donated $16.7 million to his alma mater to support a comprehensive renovation of Lane Stadium. This contribution is among the largest ever made by an individual to Virginia Tech Athletics, underscoring Hall's enduring commitment to the university that launched his illustrious career.
