Curious to hear what game and opponent people want to see when we go bowling?
Almost no chance I'll be going in person, so don't really have a preference for location. But am thinking of opponents as:
Maryland - would love to get another shot at them after the prior debacle.
Someone not very good - sorry, we are 13-21 in bowl games and have not won one since 2016. I just want a damn win. Winning record, keep the recruiting momentum going ...
Edmunds played in 37 games over 5 seasons. Finishes with one touchdown. Not really a surprise as he hasn't been on contract since July 2022 with the Steelers.
Staff has talked about Tuten only getting 2 touches. He needs to get the ball even when we're playing from behind, have to be more creative.
Pry sees Washington as most dangerous during short or intermediate passes due to his ability to get open and break tackles. Compares how he is used to Kevin from NCST. Also, mentions Colander's ability to break tackles.
Very interesting view of the talent composite for every new coach as they come into the job.
It shows that Fuente came in to a better job than Pry (duh), but it also highlights what a good job Lance Leipold and Jeff Brohm have done in their career.
Also kind of highlights how things fell off a cliff for Clay Helton.

Well, it's a good thing we weren't playing for an appearance in the ACCCG. And I hate losing to NCSU. There is so much to say about this game now that we have an entire season to begin. to evaluate.
First of all, looking at this game in a vacuum...
1. If we start slow we are going to lose. Period.
2. I'm OK if we go in a different direction with the defensive staff. Marve needs some dudes, but the guys he has still have no idea what do do.
3. I will never understand the lack of urgency in the 4th quarter when you are down multiple scores. It's mind boggling. We don't get in a hurry until the last few minutes of the game.
Now, looking at this game in the context of the season...
Really good defensive unit in NC State. "Going to be a 12 round fight." Looks forward to seeing Charley Wiles, he started coaching DL at tech after the '95 season while Pry was a GA.
QUARTERBACK – Kyron Drones, Virginia Tech, QB, Pearland, Texas
Drones completed 12-of-17 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns to lead Virginia Tech to a road win over Boston College, snapping the Eagles' five-game winning streak. He also rushed 20 times for a season-high 135 yards to finish the game with 354 yards of total offense in the 44-28 win. The honor is the second weekly conference award for Drones this season.
