Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

OT: This Season is 25th anniversary of 1999-2000 season.

Was browsing youtube and got served this gem from 1999 by the algorithm and it hit me: this year will be the 25th anniversary of that season. Crazy to think that its so long ago (yet to be fair I was 8 years old at VT for the annual youth swimmeet that new year and didnt understand why everyone was buying Vick Jerseys since I didn't watch football yet). I dont want to jinx anything by making any projections (however much I'd like to), but it would be really nice to have this season finally get back to the days where we can legitimately win any given week.

International CFB Imperialism

Thought this was a cool concept. I bet we could come up with better assignments for the countries than the average twitter users.

Ones I have so far:

Virginia Tech - Turkey 🦃
UNC - Jordan
Wisconsin - Switzerland
UAB - China 🐲

Arizona State decides to 'forgive' more than $300m in debt by its Athletic Department

And with this, the era of absorbing Athletic Departments back into the main school funding has begun. I'm sure the students of ASU like to know their tuition just went to forgiving athletic debt.

OT: Jaden Rashada suing Napier, Florida NIL collective.

Former University of Florida football recruit Jaden Rashada is suing coach Billy Napier, along with a big-time Gator booster and others, claiming they defrauded him out of millions of dollars by backing out of a promised $13.85 million agreement after the quarterback had turned down offers tied to other programs.

The lawsuit filed Tuesday includes an allegation that Rashada signed his national letter of intent to Florida on Dec. 21, 2022, less than an hour after Napier promised the player's father a $1 million "partial payment" that day upon signing. Rashada never received the $1 million, and the boosters never fulfilled the deal, the lawsuit states.
