Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

So last evening after the Redskins game on ESPN, they did a piece on the Braxton Miller injury. First and foremost, I never wish injury upon anyone; I hate to see anyone go down, especially a special talent who I'm sure will be exciting to watch on Sundays to come.
I know who I'm cheering for in Rio #CatchinRabbits
Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch is reporting that Braxton Miller re-injured his shoulder at practice tonight.
Sources tell me @BraxtonMiller5 reinjured right shoulder in practice this p.m., in jeopardy for season. Check http://t.co/x610tIPgiy— Tim May (@TIM_MAYsports) August 19, 2014
While I agree it is a Top 25 game for 2014, the blurb they wrote....ouch. The best that can be said about VT here is that we aren't a cream puff like Florida A&M or UAB.
Let's hope the good guys use it as motivation to come out hittin on all cylinders!

20. Virginia Tech at Ohio State, Sept. 6. For the first time under Urban Meyer, the Buckeyes will play a non-conference game against an opponent with a pulse. The Hokies have slipped in recent years, but at least they're tougher than Florida A&M and UAB.
#Hokies senior left tackle Laurence Gibson (foot sprain) not at today's practice. Seen in walking boot.— Mike Barber (@RTD_MikeBarber) August 18, 2014
It's unknown how serious of an injury this is. With Mark Shuman's career over, losing Gibson would put Tech to the test as far as depth at offensive tackle is concerned.
Leal: Redshirt senior, has had two years under Lefty, consistently tied at the top of the depth chart, waited his turn
Brewer: slightly higher rated coming out of high school, two years of availability, more in game experience, more polished passer
Motley: a more mobile quarterback, 2 years under Lefty, two years of availability, had better spring, went to high school in the state of Virginia (9 of 10 starting quarterbacks for Virginia Tech in the Beamer Bowl era have graduated from high school in Virginia, the lone exception being Druck)

Was projected to be their Starting TE this fall. Was their 2nd leading receiver from last year (named to ESPN's All-Bowl team for his play in the CFA Bowl), and was named to the Mackey Award Watch List for the nation's top TE. Make no mistake, this is a huge loss for them, which is even more unfortunate after the loss of their starting LB last week.
Even worse news for him, he took a non-medical redshirt in 2010, so this very likely ends his career at Duke.
Despite winning just 15 games the last two seasons, having to replace Logan Thomas, improving a running game that ranked in the bottom of the ACC, coach Frank Beamer is hyped up about the future of the team. Entering his 28th season as the head coach of Virginia Tech, Beamer has certainly earned the benefit of the doubt. His excitement is reason enough to bring optimism to a football team trying to get back to elite level.

You can start voting on the "All-Lane Team". To be eligible, the player must satisfy one of these:
Morning Fellow Hokies, do we have a starting qb yet? :)
Three ACC teams are ranked in the first AP poll but the Virginia Tech Hokies is not one of them. The Hokies did receive 26 votes but not enough to make the top 25.

Does anyone know why LT3 didn't play yesterday? He got a lot of reps in there debut but he didn't throw a single pass. I wasn't able to watch the game so i don't know if he may have gotten injured or something?
RMFW got picked up by the Cowboys this season, and while I haven't seen him much (don't follow the Cowboys or the NFL enough to be aware of that stuff), he just had a couple nice runs against the Ravens. First, he trucks a defender 15 yards downfield and then makes a nice cut on the next play to get himself into the end zone. Really hope he can stick in the Cowboys' backfield.
