Looks like GT is getting another body for their depleted backfield.
Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

I know they canceled a few years back but that was due to lightning. Would they still play the game if it's a steady rain like they're calling for?
Either way this really puts a damper on our plans. I'll be here all week folks.

Michael Brewer throws a pretty ball.
Niche.com (who I have never visited before) ranked 654 college football programs and VT comes in at #14. Admittedly, I know nothing about this website but I think it can lead to some very interesting discussion.

Anyone else see this article at BlueGoldsports.com?
Multiple sources have indicated to me that Whit Babcock has already approached current Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez about replacing Frank Beamer at Virginia Tech. While I was not told directly the two had met there was a strong indication that there had been a personal meeting in the not-so-distant past.
Obviously read all of this with a huge grain of salt, but if RichRod and Babcock have a working relationship, this could be interesting in a few years.
Not good news for a former Hokie... I really thought he was going to have the opportunity to shine at ECU.
If Virginia Tech pulled off a miracle and won the national championship next year, do you think we'd fill Lane for the spring game in 2016? Would they start turning people away? Would Tech sell tickets?
The Hokies aired some footage of the afternoon practice on the eve of tomorrow's scrimmage on snapchat. It appeared that Brendan Motley (who had several nice throws highlighted) was working exclusively behind the number 2 offensive line. Michael Brewer worked exclusively behind the top offensive line and had some really nice pockets to work on. Both completed some nice deep throws off play action.
Brewer worked mostly against the number 1 defense, however Melvin Keihn was playing left defensive end (in the place of Dadi Nicolas.) I don't know if Dadi is injured, has a class, or perhaps was just being held out of live drills, but Keihn was in on every rep where I could recognize the top defense.
I know a lot of our attention for next year's schedule has been focused on the defending National Champs, and deservingly so, but Georgia Tech is one game that I'm just as nervous about, if not more, than Ohio State and here's why...
Each year, the GT/VT game is always a "chess match" between Foster and Johnson. Foster will come up with some new way to defend the triple option and Johnson will tweak his offense slightly to compensate, and it goes back and forth. I believe Foster has done an amazing job so far with the pain of game planning for the triple option. Arguably better than anyone since Johnson has been in Atlanta.
However, no matter what new schemes Foster designs, they always have 2 main objectives:
I'm sure a few of you might've taken notice of OG Wyatt Teller and his love of Taco Bell after that story emerged from spring practice a few days ago.
It seems that this one has legs, prompting this fantastic tweet from fellow offensive lineman Wade Hansen:
As TKP's own Brian Marcolini first noticed today, JC Coleman spent some time talking with ESPN's David Hale for a Q and A today.
While the whole article is a decent read, this passage is particularly attention-grabbing when referring to his play at the start of the season vs. its end:
