Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

In a nutshell they are moving the extra-point back to the 15. The 2-point conversion will still be from the 2. Trying to add a little more skill to the play and hope that more teams elect to go for the 2. Also, the defense is now allowed to return turnovers on the extra-point for 2 of their in the event of a turnover or blocked kick.
Haven't seen this posted yet. What are your thoughts on the move?

I really liked our resiliency not the first qtr. I forgot Brewer threw a pick on the first drive with less than 2 minutes into the game. Teller will be a huge upgrade to Wang. To me, Gallo is the key. If he can play with limiting snap errors, we will be competitive. That was a sloppy first half by both teams. The part that gives me hope is that even as young as we were that night, we were not outmatched physically. Heck even fuller was beat a few times for momentum changers and we were still able to keep grinding out a win. Thank you Bud.

Douglas Doughty of the Roanoke Times dropped this nugget last night.
In a bit of a surprise, Matt Johns (started 3 games in 2014) was ahead of Lambert (started 9 games in 2014) on UVa's post-spring depth chart.

I was making my daily rounds on Tech articles and saw this video on Tech's bleacher report page. It was a couple of B/R's own making a list of 5 receivers they'd want to have assembled for receiving domination. The list included Laquon Treadwell (Ole Miss), Corey Coleman (Baylor), Byron Marshall (Oregon), Paul Perkins (UCLA), and our very own Bucky Hodges.
What do y'all think about his inclusion? Some prettyyy solid company there. Obviously people are starting to pick up on the fact we have a major weapon at our disposal for this (and hopefully next?) season.

ESPN just released the official kickoff time for the VT/anOSU game. Considering it's on Labor Day, I'm sure no one here is surprised at the 8pm kickoff. I am also sure that the hype for this game will be MUCH higher than the VT/GT Labor Day game in 2012. Lane Stadium will be turned up to 11 for this one!

The Hokies will host Furman on Saturday, September, 12 and the game will kickoff at 3:30 PM. ESPN3 is carrying the broadcast from Lane Stadium.

ESPN has an article about the decline in attendance at college football games last year. Attendance fell 2.3% or about 1,000 fans per game to the lowest average attendance rate since 2003. Several teams, like A&M with a shiny new section in Kyle Field, saw in increase in numbers. The Boo Hoo Hoos saw a dip of 6,959 fans from the 2014 numbers.
According to HokieSports (and my iPhone calculator), we had 428,099 fans attend seven games at Lane Stadium last year for an average attendance of 61,157. The 2013 season saw 383,993 fans at six home games for an average of 63,999. This was a decrease of 2,842 fans or 4ish percent.

Think this game was after our 03 season. Brings back a lot of memories and watching I realize some things were a little different than I recall and others were way different than I have chosen to remember

The underrated Hokies are expected to win 9-14 games this year on the back of a experienced Michael Brewer, with better time for passing from the new OLine.
So are the Hokies moving to a Passing attack offense?
It's an area the Hokies haven't been active at or very good at. Since 2000 when having 40 or more passing plays the Hokies are 2 - 8. In 2014 Hokies went 0 - 3
Compared to the Running game. Since 2000 111 - 18 and in 2014 7 - 0
The Hokies ran an average of 74 offensive plays per game last year so 40 plays is just 57% of the total, just over half. Currently the split is 39 running - 35 passing.
