Allegations about VT football team behavior at "Take back the night event"
@VTSandsman If you truly stand against gender-based violence, call out @VT_Football on their disgusting behavior at #TakeBackTheNight .— Adam Oganowski (@Sockadoo) March 27, 2015
Dwayne Lawson is good at this athletics thing!
So a kindly Redditor over of R/CFB (which you all need to join, theres maybe 15-20 regular Hokie posters). Had this to share:
So Virginia Tech's incoming QB recruit Lawson just scissor kick high jumped 5'10, 6'10 straight up.
"I coach track in the Tampa area and had to work high jump at today's county wide meet. Dwayne Lawson, as the title says, demonstrated he is the real deal athletically. This was in addition to him triple jumping 47 feet (he is the defending state champ in Florida). If he doesn't make it as a QB, there has to be a home for him somewhere on the field. He's that talented.

anOSU investigating potential (minor?) NCAA violation by Braxton Miller
Basically Braxton appeared on social media supporting Advocare, one of those nutrition pyramid schemes like Herbalife and Visalus.
This is admittedly a minor violation, but might provide a cheap excuse if Urban needs one to edge out Miller from the crowded QB competition in Columbus.
Eleven Warriors thinks it's gonna be a blowout
Really? 30-39 points? I'll take the Hokies, you can keep the points. Just like last year.

Bitter blog - Odds and ends from Virginia Tech's updated spring roster
Hokies 2015 spring football roster has been updated. It's attrition season.

WR Kendrick Holland and DE Dewayne Alford are noticeably not listed.
Edit: Confirmed with Virginia Tech, they are no longer part of the program. OL Adam Taraschke, LB Dahman McKinnon and WR Carlis Parker are also gone.
I was told this from Virginia Tech, "The roster is correct, so if they aren't on it, they aren't on the team."
Orange & Maroon Tour - Clarendon, April 28th
Just saw this be announced, it looks like Whit Babcock and Torrian Gray will be at the Clarendon Ballroom on April 28th. Looks like it will be $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

This is what Athletic Performance Director, Jarrett Ferguson told BeamerBall.com about the top performers of the Hokies 6:00 AM workouts last week.
Five questions with Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster
This brief interview is full of information: http://www.hokiesports.com/football/recaps/20150323aaa.html.
"I'm anxious to see some young kids step up and play, particularly up front. A guy like Melvin Keihn, I'm anxious to see him. With Ken being out, Melvin and Seth Dooley are going to get a lot of reps, and they need a lot of reps. Those are kids that we are excited about. We want to see what Vinny Mihota can bring to the table, and we're excited about Yosh Nijman.
Emphasis is my own there, but I wonder if Foster means at end. It certainly seems ambiguous (at least to me).
