Teel: "Miami beatdown shows Virginia Tech getting worse"
Teel wrote all the right words, and nailed it as far as I'm concerned.

Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

Michael Brewer is a tough QB, but the past few games he hasnt been playing well. Hes been missing open receivers and throwing the ball to the opposing teams. Coach Beamer has been loyal to him until the Thursday night debacle when Beamer said "we are going to look at the QB situation. I think everything is on the table right now. Were going to look at a lot of things". After watching the game last night, I doubt that Brewer is still the best option at QB right now.
Is there a QB controversy in Blacksburg?
- I've never seen a VT team look so soft. Both lines of scrimmage were absolutely dominated, there wasn't the speed swarm tackling on defense, and the offense looked flat out unmotivated to play.
- I'd be curious to see the offensive stats throughout the season. I swear we have gotten worse as the season has progressed. I'm sick of us making every defense look like the damn steel curtain
- Shane Beamer needs to get his glove on a stick out for the RBs. I still laugh at that tool when you see him use it on video. The 3 straight turnovers were really frustrating last night.
- Is it time for a QB change? I don't know if Brewer is playing hurt or has lost his confidence, but he is just not playing well.
I think all of us here can say that we all appreciate everything CFB has done for this program. I was always on the side of lettting him stay throughout his contract or when he wanted to leave, but after last nights performance, I don't know if I can say the same. Once again, it didn't look like we were prepared for the game, took way too many penalties again, and had questionable play calling at best. Seemed like the only plays we ran were runs up the middle and WR screens.
Coaches lost it in the first half for us. Players lost it for us in the second. Simple as that. I'm in Germany and this is the second week in a row where I've asked myself, "why the f*** did I stay up for this game?"get it together Hokies!
I started it cause I didn't see where anyone else did. As always...lets keep it clean! Lets Go HOKIES!!!!!
TSL has a quick write-up of some of the recruits who will be in attendance at tonight's game.
5-star defensive end Jalen Dalton, 4-star linebacker/defensive end Ricky DeBerry, 4-star defensive tackle Tim Settle and 4-star cornerback Garrett Taylor are among the recruits expected in attendance for Virginia Techs home contest against the Miami Hurricanes this evening.

Oh... wait, kickoff isn't for another 7 and a half hours? We don't have to leave the tailgating lots and be at the stadium to burn our skin to a crisp in the beating sun? What is this evil magic that has been bestowed upon us this glorious day?
Bottoms up!
GO HOKIES!!!!
Hokiesports has a big "Less than 200 left" intro.
I checked - It's close
My apologies, a super busy week has left me with little time to craft this nonsense. I am almost as sorry as my picks over the last two weeks (2-10). Anyway, November 8th is Coming, but first enjoy tomorrow night, Go HOKIES!

Thursday night is almost here ladies and gentlemen and youll have to forgive me for the lateness of this. Ya see this is actually the third time Ive written this. My tablet has just crashed each time (you would've thought I'd have learned to save progress as I go, but evidently not), losing all of my data and work so here we go! Third time's a charm right?! Anywho, Thursday night football is back and with it comes da U who are definitely nope never mind theyre not back. This team is hyped up every preseason only to come back down to the harsh reality that they just arent that great.
It goes without saying that the offensive line will be rebuilding next season, and hopefully we can close the 2014 recruiting cycle with a few more offensive linemen. In the best case scenario, some of these guys will be able to contribute and provide depth immediately. They certainly have the size.
What do you all think about these guys, and who do you think we have a good shot at moving forward?

Haven't quite come up with a plan on how I will update this in the years to come. Regardless, this will get your mind right for the game tomorrow. Muck Fiami!!!
Let's take a trip down memory lane playing Miami...
"He said give it to me Roscoe, give it to me!"
Best starting position all night long, eh?
The 2003 game was just too fun.
The U is back for real this time! Yeah, not quite.
