Another Jameis Winston investigation

Winston is one busy QB. Not only does he have an hearing in front of a former judge as part of FSU internal investigation in his alleged sexual assault , the sophomore QB is now being investigated for the authenticity of more than 340 autograph signings. Knowing how FSU played without him in the lineup, I doubt anything will come out of those investigations.

Frank Beamer on Josh Stanford

It has been noticed by many writers that Josh Stanford has been back in the football facilities over the last week. The sophomore wide receiver took a 'leave of absence' from the program to take care of some personal issues after the loss against ECU. Andy Bitter reported seeing him at the team facility on Wednesday.

Hatin On - Pitchsburg's Paul Chryst

We're 2 for 2 (3 for 3 if you count the brief hatin' on CPJ before the Dook game) with the new formula. This week's target, Paul Chryst.

chryst

Much like Larry Visor, he always uses 2 fingers...

two fingers

Unlike CeeLo London, he knows how to call a timeout.

ESPN is a special kind of stupid.

So after watching the state of Mississippi use all its crooked letters and humpbacks to lay claim as the sanctum sanctorum of college football dominance this past Saturday, I made the mistake of not rolling my ass off the couch and shutting down the television and was thus roped in to watching the talking heads in Bristol pontificate on the state of affairs with hyperbole and breathless superlatives in full force.

They had a conversation about how "certain experts" think teams will be able to get into the playoffs with one loss.

And I was all like...

Double facepalm

St. Judes and the Pittsburgh Panthers

Our last game against UNC saw a great joke/bet tweet from twitterer @OldKingMattCole turn into an awesome charity effort for the TKP community. In honor of Michael Brewer's nearly turnover-less day, we raised almost $3000 for the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

I want to keep the spirit of this going all season. Each week we'll come up with some new and semi-relevant challenge to help determine how much we are going to donate that week. I am personally going to keep the dollar amounts relatively low, keeping in mind a tight budget and a long season, but y'all feel free to go crazy if you want.

Hokies in the NFL #5 2014 The Almost Logan Thomas Edition

If it wasnt for Duane Brown with Houston, we wouldnt have cared a whit (sic) about the Thursday night game where Houston fumbled their way to allow Indianapolis to win 33-28.

Control of the Coastal: UVA at Duke on TV

ACC Network for October 18: http://www.theacc.com/#!/news-detail/acc-network-affiliates-october-18-v...

Mostly the same channels across Virginia and DC. The only change is that ACC Network is moving back to WDBJ from Fox 21/27 in the New River Valley, since CBS doesn't have a noon game this week.
