Predict how Tech finishes the regular season
Bill C. published his computer driven predictions for the rest of the ACC.
http://www.footballstudyhall.com/2014/10/29/7090827/acc-football-2014-pr...
As of right now, these are Tech's chances to win its final four games:
Boston College 65.5%
Duke 31.9%
Wake Forest 91.1%
Virginia 69.7%
And now, the conference as a whole.
How do you think the Hokies will finish?

Hokies football players helping domestic violence victims
WBDJ7 had a story last night about Trey Gregory Process and Problems, which is a group of men that help domestic violence victims across the NRV escape their situations. They serve as a combination of movers and body guards, looking to get women and children out of abusive/violent situations and into safety quickly and without conflict.
Garrett Taylor officially decommitted from Michigan
I have de committed from the University of Michigan. Thank you to the Michigan coaching staff for the opportunity they gave me.— Garrett Taylor (@gtaychillin) October 27, 2014
Go get him Torrian
Lovin' On - Steve Addazio
Since the Hatin' On hasn't worked the last couple of weeks, I thought we should try a bit of reverse psychology...and we could certainly lighten the mood.
Let's love on the opposing coach: BC's Steve Addazio
CSA is in his 2nd year at BC...and has tried really hard
CSA was head coach at Temple, where he helped shape and train our beloved OC.
A non bias view of ESPNs love affair with the SEC
I personally am getting turned off by College Football because the SEC is getting rammed down everyone's throat. It doesn't matter who wins or loses NONE of their teams fall out of the top 10.
If you are in any other conference, and your bottom feeder teams throws together a good season, your conference is down, but in the SEC it just shows the depth.
Just sick of it.

Six Pick: Week Ten
The wheels have come off VT's season, but I'm not quitting you college football. I'll watch to see how badly the SEC West will beat each other up. I'll watch to see if the Big12 learns how to play defense, like grown men should. I'll watch to see if the B1G Ten will do us all a favor and elimate themselves from the playoffs. I'll watch to see if the Pac12 can .... zzzzzz ... zzzzz, where was I again? Oh, I'll watch to see if any ACC team can sneak a win over FSU, just to watch #fsutwitter burn in effigy. Hopefully you will too.
Sean Glennon Still Believes in Loeffler and the Team
Listening to 910am's "Tech Talk Tuesday," Sean Glennon was a guest and mentioned this website and podcast. Former VT QBs Sean Glennon and Cory Holt Host a Weekly Podcast on Huddle Pass, which is exclusively comprised of former players as the hosts. On TTT, Glennon lamented the lack of leadership on the current roster. Justin Harper will be an upcoming guest on a future podcast, and Cody Grimm has participated too.
Glennon says he still has faith in Loeffler (even wishes he had him as his OC at VT, based on chats with Logan Thomas), in fact his younger brother was hoping to play for him at Michigan early in the recruitment process. He still believes Brewer is the answer.
I Figured Out a Pattern With This Team
So we won our first two games against William & Mary and Ohio State. Then lost two head-scratchers against East Carolina and Georgia Tech (especially GT, that ending was extremely disheartening). We proceeded to then roll over Western Michigan and UNC, which was followed up by two blowout losses to Pitt and Miami...
If the laws of mathematics have taught me anything, logically our next two games against BC and Duke should be W's, probably not blowouts, but tight games that go our way. Hopefully the pattern will break after the next two weeks and we can win out to finish 8-4.

Not necessarily relevant to the hokies but its cool to see this data. This is basically the gis research I wanted to do over the summer before more important research got in the way. Regardless it's cool to see that Roanoke is actually the highest per capita NFL player ratio in the country!

TCU runs out of fireworks ... literally
http://espn.go.com/dallas/college-football/story/_/id/11774126/tcu-horne...
The Horned Frogs' 82-27 home victory over Texas Tech on Saturday came with a cost: They scored so many points that they burned through their season supply of fireworks.
Drew Martin, TCU's assistant AD for marketing and licensing, said Monday he's working with the school's game-day pyrotechnician to determine just how big a fireworks order the school needs to place for its final two home games.
Now that, friends, is a problem I would like to have.

Mike Vick named a starter again: is it too little too late to save Jets' season?
After spending half of the season on the bench working with the scout team, Mike Vick is named a starter again vs Kansas city . Many believed that Vick would've won the job if there was an open competition. Now, the jets are 1-7, they are finally giving the pro-bowl QB a chance to end the team losing streak. Say what you will about Mike Vick, the man is a survivor. But, is it too little too late to save Jets' season?
