In less than 12 hours, fans from here will join others from around the region. And we will be launching our largest aerial battle in the history of the Hokies.
Hokies-- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.
We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore.

The Lady Hokies play the JMU Dukes at 7PM tonight in the Sweet 16 round of the WNIT. The game is on Madizone HD sports network and JMU Sprint broadcast network. The game does not seem to be on ESPN3 or ACC Network.
JMU is 27-5 and 16-0 at home this year. Evidently the WNIT rates JMU as a higher seed than VT because the game is at JMU. In their first 2 games the Dukes beat North Carolina A&T 48-37 and USF 71-54. Both games were at JMU.

Thought I'd try a little something here and see of it works...many of us aren't in the VA/DC area and may not know of much of a Hokie community to meet up with for games.

I know this was discussed in other threads, thought it warranted it's own thread though, since a lot of us wanted him to be a potential replacement. This turns the argument I think on it's head that TA&M should wait until the offseason to sign Buzz. Whit just lost out on a big fish, partly, due to Alabama moving quickly.

The latest report on Buzz Williams' possible departure from Pete Thamel, who is usually quite plugged in on these things.
- "As far back as last season, Buzz Williams has had an open invitation to return to Texas A&M."
- Whit's already vetting candidates.
- Williams is the only name for A&M.

Living halfway around the world provides some unique challenges for following Hokie athletics. There is an awesome YouTube channel (hokietapes) that posts every regular season football and basketball game shortly after their live airing and this is my main resource for watching Tech sports. However, it seems that YouTube really cracks down on uploading full replays of March Madness games. Unfortunately, streaming the games live isn't an option so I'm asking if anybody knows of a source for full-game replays. Is anyone willing to go live on Instagram so I can watch it on their story timeline? Any other ideas?

I put this in the FAM thread, but thought it should have its own thread. I know it's not Hokie-related, but I'd like to request the blonde in the red shirt that winked at the camera, in the opening montage coming out of halftime. (I don't know when she originally winked in the camera, but they did show her again as time ran out, she wasn't winking.)
Also, there should be no fewer than, but also no more than, sixteen gifs for the Sweet Sixteen. In fact, everything on TKP today should be in sets of sixteen.

So I can buy the full strip (sweet 16/elite 8) or just the sweet 16 day. I know the full strip is more bang for your buck, but is it possible to sell the elite 8 part of the ticket should I be left with that choice or once I buy the full strip i cant sell any part of it to another person? sorry I know it's probably a stupid question, but I want to be absolutely sure of the situation I'm getting myself into if I buy the full weekend strip
