Thanks so much for this!

My only exposure to lambics has been fromboise, which I do not care for. I've only ever liked citrus fruit profiles in beer, anything else turns me off. I wasn't even aware there were non-fruit lambics. Putting those on the list.

If Revolution Rosa is any indication, I am not a fan of hibiscus infused beer either, but I'll give the Boulevard option a shot.

On a recent business trip to Denver I stopped by Great Divide Brewing Co. and sampled some of their wares. Everything is highly recommended, but they had their 21st Anniversary Ale on tap and it was my first exposure to sour ale. It was different than any other beer I've ever had, but strangely delicious. Wondering if anyone else has any suggestions for sour ales?

It's not a sampling, it's an anecdote.

Back when Lincoln issued the emancipation proclamation, there were a sizeable percentage (a definite minority, but a notable number nonetheless) of slaves that didn't want to be freed. The thought of freedom terrified them. Some refused to leave the plantations out of fear and uncertainty about how to actually be free men and women.

Some things can't and shouldn't be decided by opinion polls.

My "PC" rule of thumb:

If it offends one person's sensibilities, who gives a shit?

If it is degrading or derogatory to any race, creed, color, ethnicity, sexual orientation or physical/mental handicap, then it needs to go.

Also, meanings, context and connotation change over time as language is an organic thing. What wasn't considered derogatory in its original context can come to be seen as such naturally over time via association. The swastika was used for centuries as a religious symbol by Hindus and other faiths.

These breakdowns are probably more likely for us than for other teams just because Bud is so high risk/high reward. Usually opponents are getting 1-2 yards or stopped for a loss, but when they don't, it's more likely to be a 30+ yard play just by the nature of our scheme.

We were never winning a national championship with that offensive coaching staff. Our success during that era was too heavily predicated on our talent taking everything on their own shoulders and being fired up. Too many deficiencies in scheme and coaching on that side of the ball to put a championship caliber team on the field.

Brainfart. Could we maybe implement some sort of NSFW tagging that works like the spoiler tags on IMDb? You have to hover and click to show the photo? Might not be that hard of a coding addition since so many sites use that functionality.

Said it before, saying it again. There is no statistical evidence to suggest OSU suddenly got way better down the stretch than they were when they faced us. And now the Anointed One has shown that they really did very little different the rest of the season than the game they tried to play against us.

We're a matchup problem for the Buckeyes.

Well, yeah, I get that. But all we can reasonably expect from the author is that everything be current and accurate as of the deadline. For all we know, with the recency of Ford's release, there's no reason to suspect such is not the case here.

Then there's the conversation regarding the editor (who may or may not be Steele himself in this case, no clue). Before going to press, you have to look and see what's changed. You've got a fourth string QB transfer. Okay, is this worth doing a last minute revision or printing a correction? No, probably not. Had it been Michael Brewer or Isiah Ford that was lost instead of Andrew, I'm guessing we would at least see a printed correction as and addendum to the original projection.

I really think this place needs a compiled database of targeted recruits that is its own section, not just a post on the recruiting forum. That's the one area where I feel TSL is ahead of TKP, their recruiting section is on point. But I think that would be really easy to set up here.

Also, and I'm not sure how practical this is, I think it would be awesome if TKP gave its own rating on recruits in addition to the standard battery of rankings. I'd be much more interested to hear how French rates an O lineman than how some 247 analyst who has to evaluate thousands of recruits does the same. The brain trust here could do an amazing job at projecting how a specific recruit would fit into our system.

His trapezii are insane. Makes me think Gentry has been blowing him up on back lifts. That could mean some insane acrobatic catches.

Fairly worthless information for people who follow this website.

Yup. He is about at the level of information that is commonly found on fan websites dedicated to the team...

For forty different teams.

Absolute favorite episode of any ST series ever is the TNG episode where Scotty gets pulled out of a transporter loop, and he explains to LaForge that you never tell the captain that anything in engineering is easy or quick. You make it out to be a monumental task that will take hours, and then the captain thinks you're a god for accomplishing it. Paints the original series in a totally different light.
