I think if you're on the bowl roster you get the swag.

This really surprised me, considering Gundy is only nine years older than Fuente. Apparently Gundy became OK State's WR coach the season after he graduated, then transitioned to QB coach the next season and picked up OC duties three years later, which would have been Fuente's Junior year of high school. That's an impressive career trajectory.

This is getting increasingly difficult to do as the Borg assimilate more and more craft breweries. I can't bring myself to boycott Devil's Backbone.

Plaid is kind of a colloquialism for getting a ton of upvotes. I'm not sure if it's official, but to me it means getting 100 legs on a comment.

Latest I've heard is that Schiano signed a memorandum of understanding with the AD, but the chancellor if the university never signed it. Without the chancellor's signature, it isn't a binding agreement, since the chancellor has to sign off on all hiring decisions. However, you can bet your ass a Tennessee court will be the final arbiter of that.

Not just the ACC network. The conference's television value as a whole is greater with ND. Swafford renegotiated with ESPN for more money as soon as the deal was announced.

Yeah, but doubtful this year. I think the loser if the SECCG finishes ranked higher than ND, and guarantee if Wiscy losses to OSU they'll be ranked ahead of ND.

EDIT: Almost impossible for the OB to take ND this year. Penn State is ranked ahead of them and neither team plays another game. Regardless of what happens in the B1GCG, there's no reason for pollsters to flip flop Penn State and ND in the final rankings.

Assuming the CFP poll follows suit, that makes us the third highest ranked ACC team. If, by some miracle, Clemson and Miami both make the playoffs, we can sneak into the Orange Bowl.

Ah, gotcha. I wasn't aware of that.

I'm starting to think the only reason anybody is against the ND bowl deal is just irrational hatred for ND. This is a good arrangement for the ACC.

Notre Dame cannot take the ACC's spot in the Orange Bowl. They can only be the ACC's opponent for that game. The ND agreement doesn't affect the ACC's bowl revenue from the Orange Bowl at all. That revenue is guaranteed to the conference.

You're thinking of the agreement ND had with the Big East. If ND takes an ACC bowl spot (meaning not the playoffs or an at large NY6 bowl), they share bowl revenue as if they were a conference member.
