At this point I want Miami to win the national championship just to watch Georgia's fanbase implode.

Fantastic, well reasoned post. But I want to add that this was a little more than just a "hangover loss."

It took the team nearly 24 hours to get home from Coral Gables, including sleeping on the plane in Raleigh, hanging out all day at the Tri-Cities regional airport, and finishing up the trip with a bus ride up I-81 that took as long as the flight home originally should have. That's a day without PT, a day without film breakdown, a day for all the physical and emotional effects of the Miami game to just sit and fester.

So they're a day behind the moment they get back on campus. Going into the game against the one opponent you want all the time you can get to prepare for.

Top that off with our QB1, who is already a mediocre run threat at best, being in a boot on campus at least as late in the week as Tuesday, via eyewitness reports.

Everything in the world was pointing to a loss I'm Atlanta. I even said as much. And no, that doesn't feel soooooo good. But it does prevent me from going apoplectic about the loss. I expected this. I hoped I was wrong, but at the end of the day I witnessed the expected outcome.

And the weird thing is, it wasn't just me. There was tons of apprehension going into this game. Halfwits and Wagers read like Dostoyevsky this week. Lots of comments feeling less than certain about our chances. Yet when we actually lose, the selective amnesia kicks in.

I don't understand how we go from "In Fuente we trust" to "this G5 coach is out of his league" in two weeks.

I believe I'll have another drink.

We keep being critical of Vice. Probably with some justification. But Zohn Burden has not shown me anything as RB coach. You can't blame the OL 100% if the RB is running straight into a tackle. 2017 Travon looks worse than 2015 Travon. Where's the development?

Gonna be (rightfully) banned by the FDA starting June 18, 2018. The food industry is already transitioning to high-oleic oils and safflower oil as replacements.

Swiss cake rolls reign supreme. Throw em in the freezer.

Nutty Bars are a darkhorse candidate.

Getting into White Whale territory, the pecan pies are great if you can find them. Only sold in solo packs, usually at gas stations.

Keeping with the rarities, Caramel Cookie Bars are what Twix aspire to one day become.

Star Crunch will always have a place in my heart. Like a rice crispy treat and a chocolate bar got frisky.

But give me a warm Moon Pie over all of them.

With the NCAA, I agree with you. But do the accreditors have a reason to give a flying fuck about them?

I've definitely seen plays where blocking established a running late, and our RB subsequently runs straight into a tackle. Likewise, there's been more than once that bouncing a play in another direction would yield a bigger gain, only for our backs to stick with the design. Even on a play where all five linemen execute their blocking assignments, sometimes it takes improvisation and escapability by a running back to generate positive yards. I'm not saying we need the second coming of David Wilson; put a player like Cedric Humes or Branden Ore behind this line and our average per rush would go up considerably.
