Watching Bede grow in JRob's absence has been the most fun I never should have had this season. Seriously, go back and watch him against Georgia Tech, then watch his level of play tonight. Watching this young man gain confidence and realize this can be his show someday has been a microcosm of what Buzz does as a coach.

we've won the games we should and lost the games we should in 5's absence

We absolutely could have beaten loluva. Buzz's scheme worked, we just went stone cold from beyond the arc.

I think this stretch is going to pay dividends next season, when JRob is playing in the NBA.

I absolutely think it's a NoVa thing. Growing up basically as far away from NoVa as you can be and still be in Virginia, I never felt any animosity toward Maryland. Never been to College Park, but I like Baltimore.

I don't care that he doesn't have a ton of coaching experience, J Ham knows what Bud's system needs from its safeties inside and out. (Emphasis on inside.)

No ill will to Nix, but he was a poor fit here. Maybe he would have learned the system, but I'm glad we don't have to wait and see.

I disagree that Fuente was forced to retain Bud. If Fuente hadn't wanted Bud, Galen Scott would have been our DC. (And how fucked would we be right now?)

Fuente meet with Bud specifically because he wanted to work with him, if he felt their coaching styles and philosophies were compatible. Bud is still here because Fuente wanted him to be here. Period, full stop.

He's specifically the reason I wish TKP had an ignore function. People keep saying he brings up good points, but the bullshit far outweighs it. I consider him a net negative to the site.

For anyone who has a Switch and loves retro video games, the Nintendo online subscription is worth the price just for the library of classic games you get to play.

I loved that game, but it was also the game I was playing when my SNES finally died, so it's bittersweet

FF7 is maybe the Switch port I'm looking forward to the most. Being able to play that game on the go is going to be amazing.

Deth's Tar by Revolution Brewing. Barrel aged imperial oatmeal stout. At 14.8%, it's a gnat's eyelash under what you're looking for, but it's as consistently good as everything else Revolution does.

I guaran-fucking-tee you Liberty would take him.

EDIT: I wrote this before I had seen Fernley's comment. I'm glad we had the same thought.

See, I don't get that. The first ten minutes of the game were brutal, and I just kept waiting for NC State to warm up and crush us. But once we started finding our groove, we were in complete control of the game. Yes, we only scored 47, but we were also holding the ball until the shot clock showed five or less for basically the entire second half. I'm confident we could have put up 60+ if we weren't milking the clock. And after being tied at 2-2 in the 8th minute of the game, 60 points is kind of insane

Long story short, we controlled this game from about the halfway point of the first half until the end, and played the exact kind of ball we needed to play to do that. That's not ugly to me.
