Yeah I agree I think he makes this team stronger but I get it. Glad he picked Cam and Burns though. Didn't think he'd take both honestly. And I knew he'd take Cantlay but I could have been fine leaving him out. My ideal (strictly from play) would have swapped Keegan for Cantlay. Rest is the same

Sad to see him not pick himself. But it's understandable...
They screwed him last time around and screwed him by naming him captain too early.

He's going straight down the list...so far.

U.S. captains pick press conference going on now. Finally get to see if Keegan is playing. First pick of JT is no surprise though

While I dont think this take is wrong, its just further blurring the lines from what is considered expected behavior by a student. Thats assuming these players are also students, which is also more worthy of a debate now than ever... at a minimum they are either a student OR an employee, and they can probably considered both. The attorneys are gonna love this...

I had to re-read the post to figure it out. But I think its saying if you take a mean geographic coordinates of every player we have on the roster and have a resulting "center", and compare that the geographic coordinates to that of the university, our "center" is 14 miles from campus. That doesn't say anything about the radius from that center... could be 10 miles, 100, or 1000...

Needing a guy to run away from opposing DL and LBs while working his a$$ off to block air is not something many teams need.

To the surprise of no one, Parker Clements cut by Raiders. Terrell Edmunds as well, but I would think he might get a practice squad spot because he had a decent preseason, at a position they need depth at.

I am a VT fan and I still cannot believe this.

Again, the person I've heard this from is Chris Coleman on TSL. Still find it hard to believe.

Eagles drafting him was always a bit odd as DE wasnt a need. Maybe they graded him high and he was the best player on tier board left when it was there turn, but still it never made sense to me.

We used vinegar. We did 4-5 different recipes ro get dill and butter and sone mixes with red onion. I know it was rice vinegar and we used coriander and black pepper in most of them but would have to check with wife to know exact recipe.

I seem to remember you being more bullish on Cunningham at tackle, although maybe with a limited ceiling? I believe Chris Coleman thought he could be a tackle in a pinch but thought his ceiling was higher at guard. (Chris is more of a height and weight guy than positional expert so I think that checks out.) We're definitely much more thin at tackle so the move makes sense, but also remember you thought Meadows did well at tackle, so maybe that move wouldn't be off the table if we needed an extra body there?

Also interested in your thoughts about the secondary. I remember you were very low on Flowers. The staff seems to love him, but I know from experience your analysis usually wins when you and the staff don't align. Rice's defense and secondary were terrible last year and the other transfers had better stats, so is there a chance we're missing something and the staff is getting it right, or is this another oversight and we're going to get burned all year?

Mr WFH. Everyone I've told about that who's not a VT fan could not believe it. It's actual comedy gold but I wish it didn't happen to our football team

I'm just glad the Eagles ruined their plans to have it done on the field after the Chiefs secured the 3pete.

Go Birds

Crook doesn't (didn't?) have a bad resume either.

I think reports were that Brent Davis took on doing most of the coaching.

Chris Coleman at TSL has been saying this. Unsure how well sourced this was.
