It is complex but not impossible.
I was impressed with the responses by the players, but Kelvin in particular came across very well, I thought.
In his defense, he found somebody's discarded coupon.
13-0 but no votes to CFB Playoff.
Heard this actually just a week ago from the guys that installed the emergency generator at his house (one of them, at least) not long ago. Opened the door, gave them all hugs and handshakes and treated them like family, having lunch brought in for them during the duration of the project (couple days).
Crazy week. RIP Hulk and Ozzy.

# | OT:Whatever Happened to the Family Restaurants We Grew Up With? One of the reasons McDonalds Coke tastes so much better. Syrup kept cold in aluminum containers. Water lines go through chiller and a significant filtration. They also use wider straws to impact flavor.
Feels so... bad. RIP.
If it was cane sugar coke I'd go with that but it's not
Proper storage of coke is 34 degree Fahrenheit so you don't need ice. This is per Coke's directions.
Some good commentary on this with David Teel on TechSideline podcast as well. Was just saying we HAVE to beat at least one of SC or Vandy.
We've lost to Rutgers twice, Purdue at home, and Vandy. The last time we beat an OOC P4 team was the season opener against WVU at FedEx. Embarrasing.
We SHOULD be no worse than 3-1 coming out of the first 4 weeks. And really the only acceptable way we get that IMO is a loss to SCar and beat Vandy, Wofford and ODU. If we beat SCar and lose to Vandy it will be a bit deflating. But can totally see that happening. If we win the first two weeks and lose any of the ODU or Wofford games I don't think Pry recovers unless that's the only game they lose and they gone a run to include the ACCCG and playoffs. That's the only way a loss to ODU or Wofford could be overlooked.
And not just university presidents either! Seemingly everyone had their own unique opinion on the best way to handle things
Recently read the book about how Peter Theil funded Hulk Hogan's take down of Gawker. Wild story that Hulk Hogan got caught in the middle of (and benefited from financially). I don't know if I'd call him a 'good person' but he definitely lived a fascinating life and was deserving of empathy. RIP.

You do that, you need infrastructure (ie roadways) to support that. You need more resturants/bars. Those places need parking lots, plumbing, etc
It's a lot of planning, but then you need more buy in from more stakeholders. And often times, money talks, so do you think a small business is going to come in, or some chain? Do you want that? Do you incentivize small business owners? Then your talking about getting tax laws and zoning laws updated/passed
It quickly become complex.
It was a wild time... With the benefit of hindsights, we saw that a lot of really smart people made a lot of poor decisions on how to handle it. The idea that a college football coach is supposed to have an informed take on how to handle covid is wild. University presidents were struggling with it.
I don't envy anyone who was charged with leading others during that 1-2 year time period.
Every report I ever saw said the same thing. He knew fans made his career and always had a great attitude for them public and private.

Grabbed two beers on my way back (field tickets). Mistake. I had to pee the entire Metallica show. Not bad enough that I didn't enjoy the show still but enough where in between songs I had to think a minute. No way was I going to battle those lines again during Metallica.
I was involved in making a video for a big biotechnology company many years ago. Interviewing a KOL (key opinion leader) that was meant to educate (and by that, I mean promote) the use of their medication to oncologists. Anyway, various people there were talking with the crew and someone asked who was the best to work with and the worst for celebrities. The make up lady and film crew said Hulk Hogan was the best. I'll elaborate later tonight when I have more time. But supposed to be the nicest guy you will ever meet.
Edit, so here is the story. Someone asked the film crew and the markup artist who were the best and worst people they worked with. Hulk Hogan was the best. Said he was at some signing event and he just sat there patiently and calmly as the lady went through all of the makeup application. Was friendly with the team. There were still people outside of the venue when it was supposed to close up. He said he would wait until everyone that was in line at closing time got in to see him and got the autograph. Was supposedly very pleasant with all the fans. After everyone was gone - well after the event was supposed to end - he gave away a bunch of merchandise to the crew that was working, signed their stuff and was just a perfect gentleman the entire time.
I don't like to say who the worst one was as I never met them and generally don't like to badmouth people because of secondhand comments, but I've read or heard they are a real jerk more than once, so 99.9% chance it is accurate.

Not mid for what they are- fast food. They give you a hot, well seasoned, decent sized chicken breast on a toasted buttered roll- in 3 seconds. You can get many many better pieces of fried chicken elsewhere, but for what it is, its great IMO.
Pro Wrestlers are like rock stars- drugs, women, etc. none of those guys are choir boys. Its a lifestyle. Many get addicted to opiods real quick since they are in pain all of the time

Best chicken sandwiches I've had in my life are from HCK Hot Chicken in Vinton.
edit: whoever DV'd this, I hope you stub your toe on your way to the bathroom at 3am.
I've done it a few times at both New River Junction (only open thru September last I checked) and Claytor Lake State park (bit further away).
The experience varys with the weather of course but it's certainly doable if you like camping.
