He is still playing in Italy against JRob these days. He plays for Napoli in Italia Serie A.
His basketball path has been insane. He has played for 18 teams since 2013. Seems like he takes advantage of different leagues being on completely different schedules so plays ball all year round by moving back and forth.
Hokies Womens Lacrosse finished 23rd this year.
I'm over here just listening to Merle Haggard and Buck Owens telling all the young kids to get off my lawn.
I've talked to dads who have gotten their kids into Star Wars but don't feel comfortable with them watching Andor.
I remember when Revenge of the Sith came out and my boss at the time had a 8 year old that wanted to see it but he did not feel comfortable with the scene where all the younglings were slaughtered. It was a bit much for a young kid.
I used the fell the same but as I have gotten older I've started listening to some Alt-Country, with Lucero being one of my favorite bands. As for the Nashville machine pop country bull shit, no thanks.
Wallen's song with Post Malone "I had some help" might be the worst song ever....yes
Whiskey Glasses is is biggest hit- think Friends in Low Places bar anthem. And "more than my hometown" is the one he does on shows like the view, gma, etc.
I don't ever listen to country, and I've heard of him, though I couldn't name a tune he sings.
I'm pretty sure I hear my voice in the fan portion of the song. When get I expect my royalty check?
Present company excepted, of course, Mr. About to Play a Gig at Whiskey-a-gogo.

This is the answer. We have been good at mens hoops roughly 5 of the last 30 years. Womens hoops had a chance to be great and we couldn't find 2 million dollars for the program.
I was in school the same time as Green. James Johnson was an absolute joke of a hire and his teams were dreadful but Green was a joy to watch. Green Ma-chine!!!
Of course we're a football school. We're bad at it, but we care about it.
There are dozens of experienced coaches out there that can do better than average 5-6 wins at VT over a 5 year span and lose every one score game. Dozens. You might have to pay one of them a decent salary though.
I agree. It's definitely a departure from the classic Star Wars plot and story line, however for me this was a not a bad change. I do enjoy the older movies/stories and all they entail, but after watching them my favorite remains Rogue One. It makes a lot of sense that I would therefore really enjoy Andor, which I did. It also appears to be a series that a lot of people that couldn't get into the classic themes can enjoy as it is a bit more akin to current series content themes.
Do you still have Jedediah or is he tumbling through space somewhere?
Or perhaps just one big load of ass?
I still believe Fuente was gone in 2020 if it wasn't for COVID. Whit isn't getting that treatment.
not to be that guy but.....
....are we really still considered a football school? We haven't been good at football in over a decade now
One of the most interesting takes I've heard on Andor is that it's too dark for Star Wars, a series that is supposed to be for 7-15 year olds. I've talked to dads who have gotten their kids into Star Wars but don't feel comfortable with them watching Andor.
I do think it's interesting that Star Wars decided to do a spinoff that's basically a political thriller. I found it fascinating and exciting, but I get that it's a departure from the norm.
Sands' job responsibilities are roughly 80% academics, 20% athletics and everything else.
He's made huge strides in terms of Virginia Tech's academic standing. There is zero reason to fire him.
The guy at Liberty seems to know how to grow an athletic department and tap boosters for cash.
EDIT: Just remembered they have the guy from Baylor and NO THANKS, he fits in just right over there.
EDIT 2: Stanford's AD just resigned. Not sure why, but he won the Director's Cup 8 times in 13 years. Maybe have him consult on the hire or see if he is interested in a 5 year contract. Would be interesting to see what he could do at a football first school with a track record of success across all sports.
This always seems to be the counter argument - the acknowledgement that things aren't optimal but "who do you hire" if you fire someone? That question is not for us to answer, but the troubling thing is it has become apparent that the folks in charge have no idea either, which is how we are in this mess to begin with.
It does all suck.

Substitute "them" for "us", lol....(but make sure the 'them' and 'us' don't have the same jersey # /s)
