Those 2, RJ Barrett, Jamal Murray, Dillion Brooks pulled a "VT" and did not medal at the olympic last summer. Borderline criminal. The best canadian team ever by far, and they didn't post.

I didn't realize his cousin was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, they did a puff piece on them before the last game.

Speaking as someone how does a lot of concerts, Blacksburg is not a priority for any band unless they go out of their way to make it one like Metallica just did. There are TWO places in town/county that can hold a concert hosting 1k+ people - one is Lane stadium which takes a significant amount of investment just to repair the damages on the field, and the other is Burruss which doesn't exactly have a GA pit. In other words, one isn't ideal for the host, and the other isn't ideal for the band. The next location than can host a show of 1k+ people is the Berglund Center in Roanoke. And touring is expensive - when bands setup their tour they are trying to maximize sales at every location and they need a fan base. The entirety of Montgomery County has less than 100k people compared to the metro DC region at 6.3M, or Charlotte at 2.8M which have a much higher probability of a large enough fan base to make a stop and sellout the venue.

This series was fine in my opinion. I know for most it was just awesome but I still found parts of it to be slow. I also was really big into the old legends stories where Kyle Katarn was more or less who Andor is. That aside, it was really more of a Mon Mothera backstory than anything else. The episode that ended with her just raving on the dance floor was interesting lol.

Good to know, but damn he wasn't in it that much seems like they could have figured it out. Jimmy Schmitts just has personality hard to duplicate. I know he is supposed to be reprising his role in the new Dexter series.

So today I learned that Metallica performed Funeral for a friend/Love lies bleeding in my hand for Elton John and Bernie Taupin at the Gershwin Awards last year. VERY COOL!
