I dont know what the topline budget was shaping up to be, but the $20 million was allocated for planning of the new district. based on the scale you're referencing (215k+ sqft) that's a bit less egregious than it seemed at first.
wouldn't shock me if Duffy pushes for more of a position-less approach, at least on O. Sears certainly fits that mould.
Miss Alayup...nice title
Add this to Whit Babcocks Quotes of Shame:
Babcock said #Hokies underestimated the men's basketball NIL market this year. Said Clemson was about 70% higher on NIL than VT.But re: the perception that NIL money was diverted from #Hokies basketball to football last year: "No. That's what you get for reading social media."— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) March 26, 2025
Either you shorted the program for football or you don't know what you are doing.
Either should get you fired for the results.
70 F-ING %
you should file a lawsuit and get back to your glory years
This one is a shocker: Kentucky WBB 6-foot-7 freshman Clara Silva has entered the transfer portal with a "do not contact" tag.
Silva averaged 4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 12.5 minutes per outing on 56.5 percent shooting this season across 31 games played.

Her coming to VT would be poetic justice I think.
Well then it's unconstitutional to prevent people from playing high school sports
With his sack count they should look at him on defense /s
All any scout has to do is watch his game film.
He probably had second most sacks on the team. Couldn't block a lego if he had to
Don't tell the NFL pundits that. They still are listing him as a 3rd rounder behind nine or ten other RBs.
Sears slots into Tilly's minutes. White had carved out her own spot. Agree with above that I would rather see Nelson and White over the walking miss a layup turnover.
Kate Sears my have been the bigger concern for Lani.
That's the end.

Weirdest shot I've personally witnessed today. I'll try to describe it...
Hole is a par 4 with a crowned fairway that drains into wooded wetlands on both the left and right. The cart path runs up the left side of the fairway.
I hit 3 wood off the tee to try to stay short of a fairway trap on the left side. My tee shot lands on the left side of the fairway but the fairway is very firm and the ball rolls off to the left, down the slope and across the cart path, but stops maybe 3 feet short of going into the hazard. I have a reasonable lie and can take a full swing. But there is a tree branch ahead of me sticking out that I need to stay under.
Meanwhile, one of the people I'm paired with (a couple from Michigan) hits a tee shot into the hazard right next to me and their backswing is partially obstructed. They are slightly away and hit first, chipping out to maybe 10 yards ahead of us. Their ball stops about 3 inches from the exposed left edge of the concrete cart path (less than an inch of concrete exposed above ground level). They'll be able to get relief from the path and so they wait for me to take my shot.
My plan is to play the ball way back, slightly close the club face and hit a low hook under the limb and run the ball up as close as I can to the green. I take my swing and catch the ball slightly thin; so it only gets maybe 6 inches off the ground with a ton of topspin.
My ball instantly hits their ball and my ball deflects maybe 45 degrees to the right and across the fairway well short of the green. Their ball, however, ricochets into the exposed edge of the cart path, rebounds up into the air and flies back into some thick ground cover in the hazard! It's like some type of trick shot in pool.
To add insult to injury, we can't find the ball. And the lady whose ball it is (was) didn't see this happen; she's getting a club for her next shot. But the rest of us are laughing as she turns around to hit her ball...and it's gone!
Yes, I gave her a new ball.
That is coming. Why? The coaches actually want it.
We can certainly cap the number of eligible years at five.
This is more a means to stop the NIL collective from throwing more money at eighteen year olds than the United States Department of Defense
Tuten's stock just keeps going up and up.
I think Lani only has one more year left (theoretically) but yeah, she will be missed. But she could also see that Mackie was coming on more and more to steal some minutes. Granted I would much rather have Lani and Mackie than Carleigh in most games.
Nevada forward Nick Davidson is entering the transfer portal, his agent @K30SMITH tells @On3sports. The 6-10 junior averaged 15.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season. Seeing Tuten benched 24 reps today, more than any RB did at the combine. Peebles also hit 28 while Jennings put up 17
I believe Hazelton was a Brooks recruit that Duffy was able to keep committed. https://www.thekeyplay.com/content/2024/march/29/myah-hazelton-staying-hokies
White was actually a Kentucky recruit that we flipped after Brooks left. https://www.thekeyplay.com/content/2024/may/1/hokies-hoops-ramiya-white-65-center-commits-womens-hoops
I'm choosing to believe this is CMD working to reconfigure her roster with OKG's (Our Kinda Gals) rather than us getting big-dogged.

And a greater possibility of winning a team championship.
