Cole Holecomb. Poor kid is a walk on, 6'1" 215 lb linebacker. Not only did he get his shit wrecked by Teller, he got jacked up by Sam too. He looks as clueless out on the field as he does in his roster picture.

Valid point.

I'd argue that we have plenty of depth at RB. Mac, Juice and Shai have all started. Plus Rodgers as a fill in on occasion, and I bet Peoples could as well if needed. Also McClease, but IIRC he is hurt.

Edit: I read that wrong thinking you said we need more RB depth.
Can never have too much O-line depth. One of those guys goes down and it can hurt the entire offense.

They chose not to play anyone this year

That's hardly fair. At some point in time, having Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Texas Tech, and WVU on your schedule would be considered murderers' row. These are all schools that have had success in the past and one could reasonably assume they would in the future. Given how far out these schools schedule, it's impossible to predict how hard your schedule can be. I mean, USCe sucks this year, but are people ragging on Clemson for playing them or using them as a reason to lobby for an 8 game schedule?

I'm not saying Baylor deserves to get in or that they couldn't have scheduled OOC better (though everyone thought SMU would be doing much better at this phase in the Chad Morris era). I am saying the system does not allow for a team to be in a hard conference, but still get a chance to play for the title when their conference has a down year across the board.
