When I was a younger and much bolder fellow, I was just as you have described, a dick about it. I alienated friend and foe alike with my lively support for the Hokies while being hosted by UVA friends on their 50 yd line amongst the high rollers. I don't regret loudly cheering for my team, but I DO profoundly regret my occasional profanity and general in your face dickishness when faced with disapproval from the homers subjected to my presence. My friends later bought into the Al Groh admonition and gave up the arrangement with me to provide them tickets to the game when in Lane for like consideration there. Just as well, it was time to grow up. We went through a bit of the same sort of disapproval even in Lane, not for profanity, just for being loud, whistling, yelling while on defense, etc., and standing for long portions of the game, but we didn't bow to those folks and after a season or so, the area around our season seats became just like us, so we all really got along well and enjoyed many years of spirited support. Keep the profanity under wraps and don't engage/provoke the home teamers, but cheer for the good guys...it is, after all, a FOOTBALL GAME!!!

Asking you guys. I'm in Boston today and bc plays buffalo and the sox play toronto. Would you youz go to BC or bosox game?
Can technically do both but then wouldn't have time for harvard, mit, local sights etc

Then Clemson apparently isn't quite as good this season. Who knows.

That's a good point. Kid is probably eager to get on the field ASAP and
looks like it's not happening.

I think it's his right to transfer if that's what he wants to do. Seems like
he would've considered all his options and this was the best one to take.
I mean he is a 5 star recruit who got demoted and is obviously hankering
to play.

It doesn't make his team better when a talented player leaves. I agree it's not a good look but he probably wants guys to know they won't be celebrated if they leave.

We are going to have to agree to disagree. I think a team full of players that believe the mantra is bullshit will implode in a big way. But, I'm not saying that a player should ever give up his future for the team. I personally wouldn't be able to do something like this mid-season, but again, I've said others would draw that line in a different place and that's ok too.

I don't remember the exact math that Kanell used, but it made sense in his presentation.

According to 247, he did appear to enroll a semester early. Taking summer classes, and maybe piling on classes in the spring, he could probably finish by next summer.

Basically, it was a case of, he has to sit for a year anyway, if he stays at Alabama and tries to finish out as a graduate transfer, he at least has a chance of some playing time while he's waiting.
