I ended up passing out after Washington missed their extra point on their first touchdown, and woke up near half with the Huskies up 23-0. Went straight to bed. Wish I would have seen some of this game because it looks like Petersen has the Huskies back in good form.

PS - While I'm here, Hokie 17 this video is super dope. Evans is the truth. I can say wth conviction the following: Evans > Brewer >>>>> Thomas. TKP hated me for being honest about LT though. Also, Fuente is the fuckin man!! Told y'all that the legend Beamer needed to retire years ago. TKP hated me for saying that too but hey, somebody had to say it. I even said it with an actual Beamer autograph as my Avi. An autographed ball that I'm looking at right now because I actually own it because I love Beamer and what he means to VT... because I've never been anti-Beamer.
BUT at the end of the day we got Fuente who seems like a great fit so it's all good. Not sure if he's that national championship caliber coach but he's crushing it so I'm all in on Fuenteball. And I know it's just 4 games but fuck all that, this is the best I've felt about Hokies football in about 5 years and I know I'm not the only one. Go Hokies
I've got Clemson against Louisville. The casual fan will look at Jackson's stats and the final score against Marshall and assume they had their way. Jackson was confused often throughout the first half, though, getting taken down in the backfield a couple time and throwing an interception after panicking because he couldn't find running room. Had Litton started at QB and not a true freshman who missed half his senior year for Marshall, the score would have been closer.
If the Clemson coaches watched any film, they'd see this. I think Jackson has a game that reminds us all that he is still human. He will make plays, but he will also make mistakes. Clemson's experience, coaching, and home field advantage will ultimately be the difference to a 17 point victory.
That's my hot take.

I enjoy watching Jerod Evans. But right now Lamar Jackson is leading the race. Even Isiah Ford has a larger sample size to be Heisman candidate. We have to wait deeper in to the season or next season to start Heisman conversation. Win baby! Win! The media will be forced to recognize Jerod talent.

Anytime a person joins a team, that person is swapping personal interests for the team's interest. I think the line where it's the right time to separate from the team and reclaim the personal interests is different for everybody. I gotta admit, quitting a team week 4 knowing you are one play away from starting for a national title contender is TOO self-serving in my book. However, I still say it's the player's right to do so.

One thought the only way for Houston to make it was for Louisville to win the ACC, with their only loss being to Houston.
Hmm...I have Houston penciled into the CFP as long as they win out, regardless of who wins the ACC. But I'm also anticipating Louisville to be in the ACCCG.

Saban probably sees it as another young kid faces his first bit of adversity so opts for what he believes is the path of least resistance in the form of transferring.
