Not to mention, Alabama is notoriously deep. If you go there and have to fight for a starting job, you better be prepared to sit if you don't win it.
How could Saban honestly not get this. This is the result of hoarding talent; great players who don't see the field because they have an over abundance of great players. All his players have probably been sold on Alabama being their path to the NFL. Hard to get evaluated if you have no game tape. Dispersing all that surplus talent helps everyone; the
player plays, another team gets a great player, and a disgruntled player is no longer a distraction to the team. This situation affects almost all teams. See Andrew Ford et al.
If you give MV5 $20 bucks he'd probably show up
Who say altruistic? This is a case of "damn young whippersnapper, too weak to just carry on, has to go run off at the first sign of trouble, leaving me with no backup."
Oh god please let that happen. We could play them In FedEx and we could add turkey feathers to our players asses.
Sorry, I googled funny wedding pictures and this is the best I could come up with:

On a serious note: Have they considered having the wedding at the War Memorial Chapel or the Honey Moon at Mountain Lake (couple nights might make a nice gift) ? If the wedding is in the winter, one of the outlying cabins with a fire place of it's own would be nice.
Every coach in FBS football wants to instill this mantra to their team, and it's total bullshit.
FBS football is a de facto developmental league for the NFL. For the top-tier recruits, their college career is the only path to the League they will ever have. This guy's chance to play on Sundays was being jeopardized by Saban's coaching decisions, so as a business move, he has decided to transfer ASAP to try to get a full year of availability as soon as next season.
Team loyalty at this level of football is a bullshit hustle that coaches use to try to build teams deep enough to win championships. The NFL's insistence on using college football as a developmental league rather than developing one themselves means your college career is your audition for the next level. A player should never be asked to give up their chance at an NfL career due to some concept of team loyalty. No decent coach would ever ask that of one of his players.
If I'm not mistaken, you are right in the middle of a bunch of old Duke season ticket holders (at least that's where they used to sit). They hate it when you yell... They hate it when you stand up... They just want you to sit and watch the game with as little emotion as possible.
I think with that face you will not deny Evans his pussy touchdowns or his manning award!
But why does Satan have to make public remarks about how this kid is a quitter? Regardless of how you feel about Saban, that isn't a great look. At best you're taking potshots at a 19 or 20 year old kid, that isn't great.
imagine how peaceful it was without his babbling.
It bothers me way more than it should that he might be the best college coach in history. I just can't stand him or anything about his program. Does that influence my opinions about him? You betcha.
Then again, I'm the guy who hates Belichick, Brady, and anyone else on the Patriots. I hated the Yankees when they were good, and if the Cubs are good for a long time to come I'm sure I'll wind up hating them too. So maybe my word on this doesn't mean as much.
I guess they predicted that BYU would win the upset.
Except ESPN is the one who set his schedule up like that.
Two reasons other than Maryland Football.
1) they think crabs should be eaten whole.
2) they think Old Bay makes everything better.
This was a close game where the better team lost due to turnovers. That is pretty un-excusable and might be grounds for being fired.
Training Coordinator, I was being cryptic to not tip off the Russians.

I went to a Tech game there in like 08 or 09 and had Tommy John performed there in 2012...so if you're needing a good surgeon, I got a guy.
Can fully vouch for Bullock's - I've stopped in just to get a couple quarts to take back to VA when passing through Durham before.
I can vouch for Bull City - amazing farm to table burgers. Beer is pretty good too!
Brightleaf Square has a few selections to choose from. Dame's Chicken and Waffles is a hole in the wall treasure for comfort food.
Yeah those are just the fake mock ups from ESPN. Would be hilarious if they were real though.
For the record it weakened overnight to a Category 4
Oh why do I get the feeling this is going to make the weather for the UNC game horrible?
Right now they're saying sunny with a high of 71 but that path is turning right towards us putting it near Orlando on Thursday. If anything we could be starting to get the outer bands by game day

I figured as much, damn Ruskies.
Anyway, you can hit me up via email at [my username] at either gmail or VT if you'd like to chat without cluttering the thread haha
