At some point we are going to have to honor the retired coach by retiring this horrible gif that brings back such an awful feeling and such negative vibes about an otherwise fantastic coaching career.

Mitch Trubisky. You're next! Foster is a professor at putting decoys on defense, to hide the real intent. However, that is something UNC does pretty well with: putting up with the fakes.

Hey, man, a fish on the fly is a fish on the fly, right? Like I said, ya gotta start somewhere.

He is playing extremely well so far this season. Which is very impressive since he is being double teamed most of the time.

I honestly don't mind driving up the score with the backups. They need actual practice running the offense, and for some of the backups it will be their only chance to actually score in a game.

I knew you'd love that. Even the great Chuck Kraft once molded a piece of bread around a CK Special to catch one of my "pet" trout in my spring creek in Giles. Just sayin'...

If I'm an AD at any school, this guys is high on the list...

To build on that, yards per attempt is usually viewed as a very indicative stat for passing efficiency. Evans is 15th at 9.4ypa. To put that in perspective Tyrod was at 8.7ypa in 2010.

So far, I am very pleased with the offense. They are way ahead of schedule, but still need to run the ball more effectively. O'line needs to toughen up a bit. QB and WR's are playing extremely well. On D, I still don't like the play at MLB. We are giving up a lot of yards up the middle. Our DB's have played better but they need to tighten up the coverage, remember some of the offenses we have played so far, their receivers just dropped passes where thay were wide open. I would say we have a good shot at 9 wins and 10 is not far out of reach. Possible ACCCG, is there if the Coastal beats itself up.

I know a bunch of LSU fans. To them, this about more than W's and L's. They get as much talent as Bama. It's not unreasonable that their fans expect more from the team.

Ol Miss & aTm will occasionally get a top 5-8 class. LSU gets them every year. They are the only team in the country that has their entire state top 25 locked up.

It's not unreasonable, given the talent recruited, to expect the team to have a QB, who can take the heat off of a talent like Fournette and make teams pay for loading the box (esp considering the talent that they get at WR and TE).

It's also not unreasonable for a coach at a program like LSU to have a clue about clock management. It doesn't help that the "luck pendulum" has swung the other direction. The "Mad Hatter" stunts that Miles pulled and was fortunate to come out on the winning side are now going the other way. Heck, they almost had another, this past weekend and would have had it, if replay didn't over turn it.

sorry I mean just in the first half....the final will be 105-0 with the backups playing in the second half

Yeah, Jimmy Williams probably hadn't even made it to the endzone on that first play in the 3rd QTR TD when Fu went to the headset to say "Uh, Bud, why don't we back off that press coverage for the rest of today? Thanks."

When Jerod runs the football, I immediately go back to Bryan Randall. His running style isn't as sexy as Lamar Jackson, but he is very efficient, strong and just elusive enough to make you go, "Wow!"

In a related story, Miles changed his first name to "Fewer".

Oh, wait, is this the "hating on" thread?

the next best question is, will anyone be able to call the spread for the UNC game in two weeks? obviously it will depend on how they perform this week against FSU, but since we have destroyed the spread the past two games, that has to be taken into account.
