He did nothing but get blown up and look lost the whole game. Would think they would try to get Osterloh or Pfaff some reps there if LG is going to be an issue with getting Wyatt's head straight.
He meant deep as in "long threat" not "from the depths of hell."
Did anyone else see the "Tennessee has more NCAA Violations than UVA had fans at Spring Game" sign?

Cons: We, as a fanbase, cannot handle any uncertainty with a new coach. The number of fans ready to jump off the edge after losing to a team we were predicted to lose to is absurd.

Yeah I was curious as to that and was wondering if they were going to put Alexander in after the second TD on stroman. They obviously had a matchup they liked. I don't think they threw at Facyson except maybe once.
You are not nitpicking. When I did not see Alexander starting, my heart sunk.
Not to nitpic but Stoman want burned per say. He was in position, but was just going against a larger reciever and got beat playing the ball. Burned to me says that his guy was wide open and he was playing catch up.
Other than that I agree though. I think we have good times ahead of us including in this season.

I agree with some of you. I think we will be OK. 5 turnovers = 21 opposition points. 100+ penalty yards kills drives. Defense looked good. Stro got burned on perfect passes to big receivers. Offense looked sweet, but slightly out of sync. I like us!!!
It is a whole lot more fun watching them lose when we win. Kinda takes the fun out of it after watching us piss a game away.
I was encouraged by the way we played as well. I thought we actually out played Tennessee as a whole, it was just the mistakes. My only fear is this will be the best we play all year. We have seen that over the last few years. Who thought we would lose to the teams we did after beating Ohio St? We still gave up 45 points, missed a wide open deep ball, missed a field goal, fumbled five times, and had 100 yards in penalties. The QB running killed us again, that wont be the last we see of that and there will be some more big backs we see in conference play. Conner and Hood could make for some long angry days for Hokie fans. If our defense cant stop people, we have 2003, if they can we can have 2004.

I don't think it was that we got away from it as much as it had something to do with constantly turning the ball over.
Sammy will be getting lots of deep help this year. I think the Bills let a lineman and a receiver from last year go. They will need to find other threats / ways to compensate or Ryan and friends will be gone, and Tyrod back on the free agent market.
Just watched the 1st quarter, and that play was the final one of the first quarter.
DE had looped around the OT on the backside of the play (offense's left side) and was coming from up field to head back in the general direction of the ball carrier and LOS. Teller came in from the DE's left (direction of the LOS), cutting him off with a diving block to the midsection that slid down to his legs. Both of them went to the ground. From my understanding of the rules it was not an illegal play. Dangerous and a cheap? Sure. But legal.
EDIT: was reading over on TSL and apparently Teller was dinged with a new blocking rule for 2016

Once the ball has left the tackle box a player may not block below the waist toward his own end line.
This rule will definitely become apparent in the first few weeks of 2016."
As the quarter closes, Fuente is shown walking onto the field yelling at someone off camera as the offense walks off the field.. Unclear if it was Teller or the ref, but since Teller got benched later, I'm guessing it was him.
In that situation the DL isn't going to make the play, and all you have to do to make sure is give him a shoulder. No need to go low from the side and give shitty refs a chance to blow a call. That was probably Fuente's point regardless of the details of the blocking rules.
Didn't watch the Bills game but looked at Tyrod's stats. 15 completions for 111 yards. That's 7 yards a completion. Compare that with Jameis Winston who had 23 completions for 281 yards, which is 12 yards a completion. Both have the same starting experience, though Tyrod has the edge on experience in general.
It's time for the Bills to open the playbook a little bit for Tyrod, especially if they want to score more than 7 points every game. They have Sammy Watkins for crying out loud.
It's pretty obvious why they allow spectators at races bring in a small cooler. The facility simply doesn't have enough space to provide an adequate number of vendors for 160,000 people buying food & drinks. I spent a lot of the 3rd quarter waiting in line for sodas, ended up buying an extra soda since the line took so long.
Yeah no one could hear v-tag on first downs
-Didn't have a big problem getting through the gate. Line for the elevator was taking forever so we took the stairs, but getting through security and filing into the stadium took like 5 minutes.
-Noticed the disproportionate amount of coverage for the UT band. But also didn't notice that until the game was out of hand so maybe the way the game was going played into how much airtime the bands got. Didn't really think much of the fireworks because Skipper was pretty prominent for our scores even if that didn't happen often.
-Had the same problem with concessions. Got in line for water at beginning of second and didn't get back to my seat until end of halftime. The line was long but not so long that it should have taken an entire quarter to get served. When I got to the front they had just gotten more water because I think they were out for a while but none of it was cold.
-Not really any problems with parking either. I mean we had to wait in line for a while to get out of the parking lot but that's pretty standard for any sporting event. I actually thought they seemed to have a pretty good system of getting everyone out of there and out to I-81.
-The presentation was pretty bad. A lot of the "segments" they did between plays seemed to be poorly thought out and presented. I assume they've never had to do that kind of thing for races before so I'll cut them some slack. 50/50 thing was definitely weird and terrible.
Overall I thought it was a pretty good experience outside of the game itself. Maybe I just lucked out with a lot of stuff but the water/concession complaint is the only one in this thread I really agree with. I mean that's definitely a problem but I don't think I'd go as far as to call them "woefully unprepared," when you consider the scale of this event and that this was probably new territory for a lot of the staff responsible for making it happen, I think most things actually went pretty well.
ATL traffic is awful but I do love Atlanta.

Tyrod was handicapped by an incredibly conservative game plan. Didn't let him throw downfield AT ALL, which is the strength of his and their offense. Additionally, the O-line was atrocious he had almost no time to throw. The team also suffered from the penalty bug we had.
ESPNU this week (first three weeks are always set prior to week 1). Still waiting for week 4 announcements.
I didn't notice it myself, but saw someone mention gallo came in later in the game.
