To play devil's advocate, I think you are basically getting worked up over an opinion. There are gonna be people that don't like the uni, there are gonna be people that like the uni. Why does one side need to get offended by the differing opinion? The reasons behind each person's opinion isn't something you can really dispute or get upset about. I say just move on.

I have the utmost respect for you fish, and my comment was not directed at you. You never proclaimed to be a "purist" (which btw, sounds arrogant AF) and that is what sort of riled me up in the first place....the elitism of that statement (which, again, you never made) got to me...but I realize these uniforms (or any uniform, for that matter) are never going to be liked by everyone...everyone is welcome to their opinions.
