I know where you are coming from. Any time we play LOLOLUVA over the last 7 or 8 years (at least) , whenever the teams line up, there are 22 players that are on the field for any given play that all know, somehow the Hokies will win that game. I only want one thing and that is for Tech and their opponents to get to the point where that is the case in 15 games.

When the season begins, I'll go with achievement for sure, but wonder if upside will factor in. Either way, I will root for whomever takes the snaps and those players on the bench, as well, but I'm also a sucker for a good story. Sue me, I'm a softy.

The level of bowl games that 6-6 teams get into is so low that I don't personally care if those teams are P5 or G5. Just my two cents.

I'd say they're at least the best in the greater Williamsburg region, but I can't speak to the quality of HS teams around there...

As long as the first two look competent with those general reps, it's not likely to hurt either of them to the third guy involved and competent. Game specific reps? Whole different story.
I guess we'll find out how good they are on September 1, when they play NC State.
Still, It's a B.S. comment. William and Mary isn't the best football team in the state of Virginia by a long shot.
