I agree that it seems superficial to make the statement on Jackson for appearances, but Fuente literally says "Don't overreact to what I'm saying" as a qualifier to his comments about Jackson. Overreacting would be thinking he has a true shot at winning the job 2.5 weeks from game #1.

He is pointing out the progression of a really good young player, sending positive vibes, and trying to protect collective morale through universal competition. I'm Joey Slye's sport's psychologist...

Not necessarily in response to your comment, but there should be more P5 schools in bowl games. If P5 only plays P5, then bowls will by half P5 and half G5. The P5 should have two games to beat up on the G5.

Gotta know the secret back ways, and times to travel and not travel. I know people who live in Pawleys who don't go north of Murrells Inlet during the summer.

I remember the day dork magic was invented and cracking up at my desk and then having to explain it to my office mate. I explained it all and after he understood and saw all of the photoshops he was dying too.

I agree the south end is way, way better as far as being touristy, but in the summer that whole stretch of 17 from Pawley's to North Myrtle is pretty crowded. I've always imagined it would be frustrating to actually live there during the summer.

I love all those things..I want those same things...I'm like Steve from The Italian Job...I'm just going to take everyone else's ideas

-I want to beat Liberty so badly they are triggered anytime they see a football, hear Enter Sandman, watch the movie Incredible Hulk, smell a turkey leg...
-I want to beat UT handily. I don't want the Vol fans to be able to say, "if such and such happened, we would have won." I want them to know without a doubt who the best team is when they limp back to Knoxville.
-I want Loeffler to know we don't miss him one bit.
-I want to make ECU regret they even considered letting Ruffin go.
-I want a close game with UNC and just when they think they have it in the bag, our D steals the game and deflates their hearts.
-I want a win against Syracuse.
-I want an interception and sack fest against Miami in a defensive blitzkrieg win.
-I want to crush Pitt.
-I want a win at Duke.
-I want a win against GT while a freak play sends Tim Settle into CPJ's knees on the sidelines. During his recovery he vows to never chop block again.
-I want to beat ND so badly touchdown Jesus looks more like the shrug emoji.
-I want Sam and the seniors to sip the tears of Bronco and the rest of the hoos from the Commonwealth Cup before taking it downtown and guzzling some rails from it.
-I want to stomp Clemson in the ACC Championship.
-I want the NC to come down to us and an undefeated Alabama, who we proceed to whip like it's the 1998 Music City Bowl.

I don't ask for much.

There is the built in penalty of the second FCS game not counting toward bowl eligibility.

To be fair, the reason FSU played two FCS teams in 2012 was because West Virginia cancelled at the last minute, and FSU got caught on the wrong end of musical chairs. At fbschedules.com, 2008 and 2012 are the only two seasons I can find where FSU played 2 FCS games, so it's not like it's a regular occurrence.

Still, there are plenty of bad FBS teams to fill a schedule with.

I took our 10 month old to her first day of day care on Monday. Mrs. GoKart also started her new job on Monday. She was sad, but kept it together more than I thought she would. I thought I was gonna be Joe Cool and drop her off and go on my merry way to work. I did not see the ton of bricks and the pit in my stomach coming. Monday was the most emotionally taxing day I've experienced in a long time.

Nothing better than 2 player Contra with 30 lives. Bring on the Funyuns and grape Sunkist and lets settle into some bean bag chairs for some NES extravaganza!

Dude, look at our future schedules. We don't have any FCS after 2021, and most of the years immediately after that are full.

Although, I agree there is no reason to play ODU and ECU in the same year.

Gotta hate the Terps, and their soul-less money grab with the Big 10.

They didn't even pretend it was anything else.

I lived in Pheasant Run my last two years and I loved watching the hordes of freshman descend on the complex in search of parties. The groups of 15+ hoping to get into a party together were hysterical. Of course it also brought me back to when I did the exact same thing as a freshman.
