I'm just here for the cheese fries....
Fuck Matt Ryan
(Self explanatory)
I would have never guessed you'd be into that sort of thing
Dope place to propose, congrats!!
I've been debating with one of my friends about how much smoke and mirrors Fuente will use vs Liberty in preparation for UT.
Like you said, I think it is a little of both. Interesting to think about though.
It's actually QB<=>TE.
I made a gif for it at some point.
That is certainly one way to look at it. However, it seems as if (based on the couple of articles I've seen) Jackson is progressing faster than the other two. If that is the case, then this move requires much calculation. Where will he be when the team heads to Bristol? Where will he be when VT hits the heart of the ACC schedule?
It seems clear that Jackson has a higher ceiling than Evans & Motley... He may or may not be where the other two are at the moment (I have no idea), but it seems, based on the reports, the intrigue is that he is developing faster, and that should certainly be a part of the equation.
Just my one cent (as I'm not as knowledgable as you TKP stud reporters!)
Lawson doesn't play a single down for us if we redshirted him... Let that one sink in compared to last year.

# | Josh Jackson's "Really Good Camp" Propels Him Into Middle of Virginia Tech's QB Competition Not saying a lot, but this is a lot less coach speech and a bit more general openness than Fuente has been all summer. I liked the part about focusing on technique/etc. rather than just trying to beat the other side. I think we as fans often get caught up on our offense vs. defense during the offseason while that isn't exactly what the coaches focus on day in and day out.
Yes.
Ah yes, play two years and get drafted, the ole Dwayne Lawson method. Seems like he was only here a year before he got drafted.

"Nah we ain't shoot no cop String, that looked like one of Orlando's hoes."
Banks will always be a cake eater to me.
To me, there's no way you should start Jackson. He's 18 years old. He needs to sit a year to grow as a QB. Work on mechanics and get a solid grip on the offense. Grow in the weight room. Grow as a person and an student-athlete. No reason he sees the field this year unless he is heads and shoulders better than Evans or Motley. If he's neck an neck or a little behind, redshirt him now and don't screw up his potential.
Just my two cents.

Joe, if you need help with anything in particular, let me know. I'm a May CS grad with some forum software experience.
THAT WE WILL WIN
Morals?
Joe, I just joined. I love this site for many different reasons but mainly because of the feel of the active participants. You've been a patient admin of this place and as a result, you've built something that means something to people. Good job, dude.
I agree redshirt Jackson, give Motley the job and Evans a good amount of reps. Then go into next season with Evans as the starter, but start Jackson if and when he wins the battle in fall camp

Well, you guys stepped up and got us to 150. When I posted this offer, we were at 134. I think a 12% increase in TKP Club membership is a good day. Tell your friends and let's keep this up to help Joe and TKP.
AMA is on. Get ready with questions. Let's have fun.
All the big boys bring in 4 and 5 star guys who never see the field. Alabama has 25 recruits a year, most of them 4 star and above, and less than 1/2 of them will ever start
side side note: Saw him today downtown while I was eating my Chipotle. Should've known you wanted to give him that hug. Could've been a proxy hugger.

If nothing else, makes me feel confident in the future.
